What's on your Phot Friday Menu RNY'ers?
Thank you for the input! I'll definitely bring up my concerns about being "low normal" and see what they say, and keep up with my supplements. I'm just worried that I'm starting off on the low end, decline could happen faster.

So, the labs from my pre-op bloodwork didn't seem to include quite as many tests, at least I don't see ferritin and some of the other tests on there. I had more extensive bloodwork done back in December when I had my EGD, but that was through the hospital and not available on my online portal. I'm hoping to get a copy Wednesday when I have my 6 month followup. So for the moment I don't have a comparison.
i take a Nature Made iron (ferrous sulfate), but super confused about what type of iron I should be taking, what absorbs best, etc

It is! And even knowing that men lose easier, I keep comparing my loss to his. It makes no logical sense. I know my loss will not compare to a 6"5 525 lb man's loss. Sigh.

Hi all
QOTD: I think I was sick and tired of being sick and tired and I wanted better for myself and family long term.
accountability- pretty well stayed within my calorie but I did have 2 protein bars yesterday which pushed the carbs up and the gas also- lol
scale is back up- it tends to do this roller coaster then drops a bit- over time though the trend is going down- just so so so slow!! newbies- lose that weight as fast as possible, it is really hard after you are further out.
photos: our first foggy has escaped from the kiddie pond (he needed help so I helped him out)
new to me purse- im in love with it- it is made from mercedes seatbelts and it is my second one (Harvey's)
third is a deer I saw last week right outside the house.
Food for today:
going to cook chicken and eggs in IP during the day and maybe some other things
coffee of course
water
tuna packet (I think I have 3 i need to eat up STILL)
I am back! Well, sorta... I am not home yet. I am back in the country though, so I get to start eating completely properly again and posting my menu!
We had an amazing time in Germany. We did and saw so much it is a little overwhelming. Most days I got a crazy number of steps, and it was so hot while we were there that normally I would have really struggled; but I didn't! I made it up the steep hill to Neuschwanstein easily. I climbed the stairs to the chapel in cliff in Idar Oberstein with ease. There was no stopping me. When my husband and I honeymooned in Germany before all of it was a real struggle. I got winded and was in constant pain, but not this time!
Food was all over the place though. I tried to keep it protein forward but sometimes that just wasn't possible given the choices available. Thankfully I made it through though.
Today's menu
BF: plain nonfat chobani yogurt, 4 triscuits
MS: Ostrim meat stick
L: 2oz sliced rotisserie chicken, 2 triscuits
AS: 1/4 cup grape tomatoes, 1 babybel
D: not sure but probably eating out with the in laws, primarily protein though!
The first and last selfies with my husband from our trip!

Good for you making that climb to Neuschwanstein. I tried to back in 1974 but couldn't do it due to my weight. Had to get a ride up there. Was so embarrassed.
