QOTD: I think there were a couple of things that happened in close proximity.... I had just had my first grandchild, I had to go to Sloan Kettering for surgery and of course at almost 400lbs was worried about surviving.... so I had this second chance at life, is this how I wanted to live it... my mother died young from her own addiction-smoking and never met her 13 grandchildren. I want to meet all of mine. Right after the NP at the GYN office mentioned it to me which then made me talk to my niece at Easter. She had had it 10 years prior. Right after that I went to a seminar. And as they say the rest is history.
Teaching an art class today and I'm not ready. Ugh.
B: Fairlife latte, overnight oats w/protein
L: chicken, cauliflower 'potato ' salad
D: bbq chicken pita pizza, carrots
S: protein powder, hard boiled eggs on wasa cracker

Happy Friday! Peach, the outfits look nice. Shopping is more fun than it use to be for me.
QOTD when my endo was out for a family emergency, another dr in the practice had to see me and the 1st thing out of her mouth was the question of had I ever considered WLS I guess I could have gotten upset with her, but she is still leaning American people skills and I think she was just blunt but not trying to be hurtful. So I attended the seminar and started my journey. I had attended a previous seminar a couple of years before this with a friend who did proceed but it took me a couple more years to get to the point where I was ready to commit to the life changes.
Yesterday, this is going to be my best guest. We had meeting last night and the president of the group provided dinner. It was from her Keto cookbook and it was good but kind of hard to determine how much chicken was actually in the dish. So here goes, cal 746, protein 70, carbs 13, fat 37. Today B 1st tea with half and half then shredded crack chicken on romaine leaves then more tea. L tuna salad. D more crack chicken. Snacks light babybel and 5 cherries.
Have a great Friday and weekend!

Peach, you look fabulous!!
QOTD - my PCP said "have you thought about WLS while you're young and healthy?" at my physical in may of last year and I realized that I hadn't been thinking of myself as healthy but I could be; went to the next seminar and then immediately jumped on the program requirements.
Accountability - on track, nothing extra although I didn't work out yesterday because I was so so sore.
No photos today but exciting news for me - I am working from home today so I ran out to the store before work to pick up a couple of things and treat myself to a coffee. For the first time in I cannot remember when, I was able to buy something on the clearance rack that didn't have an X infront of or behind the number. Yes, they are leggings so they stretch, but they are just L not XL or 1X so I'll take it as a plus. Also, it must be fall because Light and Fit Pumpkin Pie yogurt is out so winning all around!
B - premiere + coffee
L - L&F greek
D - I'm going to make a crustless pizza -- from the recipe it's basically a very thin, pre baked egg/cream cheese crust, with sauce, cheese and toppings. I will report back.
Have a great friday all!
