Please join me in thanking those that do the daily food threads!
On July 10th, I had a revision from the sleeve to bypass due to regain from having a larger sleeve. I?ve been lurking on the daily food threads for sometime to get an idea of typical food capacity after surgery andI love seeing all the different kinds of menus! Maybe once I can eat more than a quarter cup and not living off protein shakes, I?ll join in.
Thanks
Tracy
For me it's like a support group. If I write it down then I stick to it. I expect the good, the bad and the ugly when I need a kick in the pants. I was very active on the lapband board before my revision and it is the best support I could have received! I'm still so new and learning but I appreciate being welcomed into this group of amazing people!

Thankful for this wonderful board and all the helpful people.
I appreciate the people who take the time to post. I am not a planning type of person, neither do I record my food. I do weigh myself several times a week and make adjustments to my food intake. I feel like I am a part of the family of posters. I am a part of their daily life. It is like watching a series on tv. You feel a part of the show, you feel people's pain, you feel their happiness and you see people having the same problems that you encounter. I worked midnights for 30 years, so by the time I read the thread, most people are done for the day. It helps me realize how little most people eat and helps me to set boundries. I want to compare my current eating with what I used to eat 100 pounds heavier, but I need to compare my food intake with those that are 2-3 years out and see the amount of exercise with the little food intake. Often I feel I need more calories, and then I see a weight gain. I am 3 years out and weigh 143. I really appreciate those that participate and those that start the threads. I am a quiet person in real life, and so I am quiet on the forums. Many times I'll log on once a week and go back and read all the posts. Thanks again.

This is such a timely post! I just got back into the states and am really excited to start posting on the menu board again! Almost 3 weeks of completely erratic eating got really old really fast. But I got through okay because of the things I heard about on the menu board (ostrim sticks).
Thank you so much to those who run the boards across this site
