Good morning everyone. If I don't take vacation time soon, I'm going to lose it. It was so hard to make it to the office today. I got some great, yet unexpected news yesterday. I have an incisional hernia that needs to be repaired and when I was talking to my surgeon, I asked him the odds of parlaying the hernia repair into a tummy tuck. He got excited and told me to make an appt with the plastic surgeon in his practice. I did and the surgeon told me he thought it was unlikely that it would be covered by insurance. For as much as I've lost, my skin wasn't horrible, I have no rashes, etc. so other than my body dysmorphia, absolutely no medical reason for surgery. After my consult I didn't hear from them for a while so called his office. His scheduler told me they were re-doing their pricing and she wanted to wait until it was done to quote me a price. I asked about insurance and she told me she didn't submit it because no one thought it would be covered. I told her the only way to know for sure it to submit, which they did. I got a call from the office yesterday that insurance is actually going to cover it. She said everyone in the office was shocked, particularly since at the time of my initial surgery my insurance was quick to tell me that they didn't cover skin removal. So now, I just need to see if I can work an unexpected surgery into my schedule.

QOTD: This is still something I struggle with daily. My body dysmorphia doesn't help as I still see myself as very large.

My plan:

B: 2 eggs, .5 oz cheese (I only ate about 1/2 of it. The eggs were too dry)

L: leftover chicken fajita meat, 10 grapes

D: skirt steak

S: latte and a yogurt before the gym if I go.

E: spin if I go

well hello there everyone.
I know I am pretty late to the game today and who knows if anyone will even see this, but HEY I made it! LOL...

I was off work M-W and came in just for today, then leaving on family vacation Tomorrow morning to Galena!
Had a great couple of days off to just kind of catch up on some housework, laundry, thoroughly clean my floors and organize Story's play room...it makes me feel so much better when my house is clean!

We met up with my siblings and their kids on Tuesday and took them to a little forest preserve/lake area where we went paddle boating. the littles LOVED it and Story can't stop talking about it. she's asked me to go back on the "row boats" at least 8 times in 2 days. LOL.

QOTD: I definitely buy too many clothes, especially with the knowledge that they will probably not fit for long, but I just can't keep wearing the baggy ones that make me feel like I am still huge...clothes make me feel amazing...from the time I was 9 years old I thought I was going to be a fashion designer but never really figured out how to get there.
I'm only 1.5lbs away from losing 100 and I told myself I'd splurge on an amazing hair cut/style for a reward...but since We are going on vacation this weekend I just went ahead and did it. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I chopped off all my hair and went for a super edgy cut with PURPLE highlights. I feel like a completely different person...I have done several double takes in the mirror the past few days haha.

Morning: coffee w/half caramel PP
B: HB egg/tuna salad
L: leftover turkey sausage/kale and green pepper casserole
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: more leftovers of something since we're leaving tomorrow- I don't want to leave them all sitting in the fridge for 3 days!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
