Good question about self love. There are so many ways to answer that. As someone who has lost their excess body weight so no longer has reserves of fat to draw on - self love some days can be eating lots of small meals to get the food in even on small pouch days. I did this to be healthy not just skinny.

Right now self love also includes riding the wave of the scale that went up 4 lbs last week mysteriously and has stayed there... as well as figuring out what to eat to calm down my acid even if it includes carbs.

Your cobb salad no lettuce made me laugh. At a diner once I ordered this great salad that had steak, blue cheese, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers... lots of great stuff- and I asked them to hold the lettuce. Ha. Got a double take from the waiter. Still too much food.

B: latte, cottage cheese, cantaloupe

going to yoga in here. I am terrible at it but it is good for my balance and flexibility- so self love.

B2: overnight oats w/protein and blueberries

L: poached chicken salad made with Greek yogurt, veggie

D: cod, more veggie TBD I have these cauliflower gnocchi from TJs. Maybe that will happen

S: protein powder, Maybe- light English muffin w/cheese (have not plotted my macros and on my acid trip, yup carbs go down)

Ex: yoga and regular gym workout- mix of cardio and weights

I had only taken a few yoga classes over the years and hated them, not in to the new age-y stuff. Plus I had no idea what I was doing.

One Monday night I decided randomly to take a yoga class at the gym and loved it. The teacher did a very good job of explaining each move, telling you where to look, what muscles should be engaged etc. I found out that was vinyasa yoga. I had no idea about types. So I decided I would try all the yoga teachers at the gym, realizing type and teacher can make such a difference. I am already paying for the gym membership.

T/TH 8am the teacher does basically a stretching type yoga class. She moves at a good pace (I get bored. Ha) and again is pretty good at explaining the moves. Since I desperately need the stretching and balance work I think I am committed to going to that one. I also went to one on Tuesday night that was sort of a combo, but the teacher was much more new age and slow moving... so I liked it but didn't.

If you find a gym that has yoga classes that can work, or some yoga places give you a one month intro fee, and/or you can buy like a 10 class ticket that you just have to use in like 3 months.
