Hello my menu pals! Happy Thursday!

Late posting again, but I love reading what everyone has to say, and posting helps me, too.

Thank you Bethmal for starting us off! I hope you have an uninterrupted sleep tonight, so you can tank up and feel rested tomorrow.

Accountability: I have been hungry over the past few days. Stayed on trac****il yesterday, when I both an extra meal of ham and cheese, plus had some non-fat plain Greek yogurt with freshly picked blackberries and a splash of SF vanilla syrup! After all that I was seriously uncomfortable for several hours, no wonder! Today I still feel stuffed but there's no discomfort, and the scale stayed steady, thank goodness! Back to plan!

QOTD: I wore the same very few skirts and tops for a very long time - I hated shopping because let's be honest, it's hard to find gargantuan clothing, and absolutely nothing looks good on a 350-pound woman! I also wore those skirts and tops for the first full 100+ pounds of my weight loss - astonishing really! My next door neighbor kept gently hinting at how I needed new clothes, because by the end those skirts wouldn't stay on my waist and my undergarments would show if I bent over even an inch. I even started pinning the waists tighter so the skirts wouldn't fall off of me! But I'd worn them for so long and still felt so heavy that I wasn't comfortable with the idea of either shopping or wearing something new. Finally I had no choice! It was a strange feeling, and I was not very comfortable with clothing or my appearance for quite a while there. Now that's all changed. I already had a huge closet full of beautiful smaller clothes, most of which are classic enough not to look dated, and bit by bit am beginning to fit into many of those outfits, plus I have bought many new pieces. I have decided not to purchase anything else new for now, as my size is dropping so quickly that it is a waste to spend on items which have no longevity. But I am taking good care of myself by walking twice a day, at least 1.5 miles each time, sometimes double that. And I have been loving my hair and keeping it highlighted and trimmed. And can I tell you how much I am loving being back in girly, flirty heels? Also, just underpinning all of that, I am proud of myself for remaining so steadfast and so resolved to improve not just my looks, but my health, for the rest of my life.

First: Tea! So good!

B: Ham with Chipotle gouda melted on top

L: tuna

D: eggs

Have a great day my friends!
