Awwww, Karen! I'm so sorry to read about Pigie. You gave him a wonderful life, from the moment you rescued him and took him in, and he was an adorable and unique companion. I'm truly sorry.
P.S., Beautiful pain ting! I love your illustrative style. I paint tightly, too.

Good morning!! Happy Humpday!!
Yesterday I did a cardio class at the aerial studio that must have been two levels over my skills and abilities. The instructor was very supportive and I made it through it but WOW do I need to work on some upper body strength. I had known it was going to be challenging but the cardio part actually went better than I thought -- I was working, not dying, but I will need to work up to this class! I've scheduled myself for it again in 2 weeks!
accountabilty - on track with my fluids, my 400-500 calorie goal (even though I added 2 tablespoons half and half to my evening decaf), and exercise. I did find myself planning a snack for no apparent reason -- I still had a yogurt and my supper to go but apparently thought I'd still be hungry. I stopped that in its tracks!
QOTD - Jerry Shea, my jr high and high school english, Latin, journalism teacher was the first teacher who treated us kids like we had something to say, that we could add value to a conversation, and were allowed to have opinions of our own. I had a pretty challenging childhood and he was just a steady, positive influence. I wrote him a letter when he retired a few years ago, just to tell him what an impact he had on me.
