What's on your Wednesday Menu RNY'ers?

Thank you Karen for your kind words. I always knew the way I was raised was wrong. I always knew that I wanted different. I was also committed that my children would never go through the things I did.
The sausage sounds good. What brand is it?

I bought them at Costco. The brand is Sabatinos, smoked motzarella w/ artichoke and garlic chicken sausage. They are tasty! 140 cal, 16 protein and 2 carbs. I would take a picture of the package, but I already threw it away when I broke down the package. I slice it up and sauté it with cabbage and peppers.
yum! I eat alot of Trader Joe's chicken sausages, especially the sun dried tomato ones.

Good Morning! Peach, sorry you had to drop some money on your car, that is never fun. Yum...brief memory of bread and butter...**stop reading now if bread/butter are trigger foods**. Many years ago when I worked at a call center we shared a parking lot with a Vons grocery store. There was a group of us that worked a 3-midnight shift and we would take a break around 5:30 and walk over to Vons. That is when they would bring out the fresh french bread and we would take a loaf back to the office and eat it with butter while the bread was still warm. About 3-4 of us could polish off a loaf at least 3 days a week. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming....
QOTD: I loved my teachers aide in 2nd grade Mrs. Frost. I had many good teachers but she is the one that sticks out. She was very encouraging and had the best upbeat attitude.

Mmm, bread and butter...so good, soooo bad!
are you guys starting to see any relief from the heat and fires? We're getting thunderstorms every couple of nights and when it actually rains, it's been a bit helpful here -- not enough rain at any one and still too hot, though. August is the hardest month!
