I should have taken a "before" picture! Lots of junk and garden stuff, rusty tools, dust, mildew and cr@p! Lots of hauling junk out for the trash and recycling, garden stuff to the outdoor shed and salvagables to the attic for more dry and organized storage. I scrubbed everything on my hands and knees to get the rust and gunk off the cement floor tiles and to clean up the dust, cob webs and dead cat toys. Lots of hard, heavy work, but it is amazing and usable now. Still want to de-rust the tools, fix the curtains and clean the fridge and freezer but those can wait a bit....

Good morning!

QOTD my 5th grade teacher, odd that I can't remember her name, but wait, I'm 60! Lol. Anyway, she let me come to her class after school and take care of her plants. I'm the oldest of 6 kids and believe me, I enjoyed being alone in her classroom with just the plants. It was a respite before going home and having to be "2nd mom". Both parents had to work, 6 kids, lol, so I was in charge until they got home. So the classroom was like heaven!

Yesterday cals 952, protein 90, carbs 27, fat 54 what???. Today B 1st tea with half and half then chicken breast and then more tea. L taco meat on lettuce. D cod that I didn't eat yesterday. Snacks. Chicken breast and light babybel.

Happy hump day! Come on weekend!

Your story of the 5th grade teacher reminded me of the elementary school secretary, Mrs. Wright. She let me help her in the office at recess- I didn't have friends and recess was painful. She was great about letting me stay inside in the office. I'll never forget the day the principal forced to go outside for recess-- evil witch!!

Good morning Peach. Still hot here. I have yoga this morning then I should clean my house (we will see).

QOTD: I had to really think about this. I probably had several teachers who were my favorites: Miss Swift in 4th grade who everyone thought was stern, but she was just demanding and challenged me. Miss Tutuny (Social Studies) and Miss Pettipit (English) in 9th grade. It was a difficult year for me as my brother had died the summer before and my mother became non-functional (alcoholic). They were kind yet expected me to do the work.

Accountability: Not great - extra stuff made its way into my mouth in the evening, including two ginger snap cookies.

2 Years, 4 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 20 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese (or deli turkey and cottage cheese)

D: crab cake or mahi burger (OR if I get energized and get the ingredients, fish tacos)

S: Siggis yogurt

I vote for fish tacos! What kind of tortillas do you use?

Good morning everyone. Today is going to be near 100 in the PNW, but I am thankful no humidity. I am off work today. I am planning on deep cleaning my room and shampooing the carpets.

QOTD- I have had many wonderful teachers over the years. I had a bad home life, both my parents were addicts and I had a child molester grandfather that I constantly had to fight off of me. I was in foster care when I was in high school. My favorite teacher was my Home Ec teacher. I was her TA in high school. She was just very kind. She encouraged me always. She went to court with me and always advocated for me. Wow!! That was heavy for early morning!

I am finding that my food is boring, but that's okay. My body likes it.

Black coffee with Miralax

B- 2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese

L- 4 oz shredded chicken breast with 2 T. fresh salsa and hot sauce

D-smoked garlic chicken artichoke sausage, 1/2 c. sauteed cabbage

S- chomps if needed. Lots of water and vitamins always
