Haley -
OH is being weird today and my post keeps getting bumped - not sure why. I did get your comment about my recent loss - yes! It would seem 9 pounds in 2 weeks, but a month ago (7/8) I was 159. I had a set back having blown it about 2 weeks ago on popcorn and other salty carbs which bloated me up to 166 temporarily. I am very sensitive to salt and well -cheating in general!
Looking at your menu has me concerned - your calories and especially your protein are way too low. My center had me off protein shakes at 1 month so I know its possible to get it only from food at 3 months. Please take care of yourself!

Ok, I'm glad I wasn't going crazy lol and I'm glad you got my reply as well. Well even if the salt and carbs had a lot to do with it, 157 is still less than 159! Still a total win :)
Thanks for your concern as well, I'm just so scared that I'm going to fail this surgery that on days like today (small pouch day) my thought process is mostly just "let's take full advantage of this!" and I don't really eat. Yesterday was also a small pouch day and I only ate 1/3 cup of egg salad all day.
I don't know....I know protein is really important, but the calories scare me....
Anyways, you're doing an amazing job! I've been following your story and it totally looks like you're killing it.

Not getting enough protein some days is one thing, but you basically say you are cutting your protein to cut calories.
Simply put - as I am no expert - your body needs adequate protein to function and at 3 months you are not even absorbing all you eat right now. Protein deficiency can result weakness and fatigue (among many other things). If you don't give your body protein it will take it from your muscles and remember - your heart is a muscle.
