QOTD:Right now I still have no hunger so there isn't much of a problem. But some Barnum's Animal Crackers found there way into my cart in the last shopping trip and I just finished the last little bag yesterday. I'm not going to buy anymore they are too much of a temptation.

The scale has been kind to me and I'm slightly past the half way point. I've done the treadmill the last couple of days since it is too dark at 5AM for my comfort level. I watch Netflix so at least I keep myself entertained. Why does 40 minutes on a treadmill seem so much longer than walking a trail?

Trying to not get so stressed at work, not sure if it's working. Finally football is back starting Thursday so that is a distraction for me. But I'm disgusted with my team the Seahawks they traded too many good players and I don't hold out much hope for this season. I keep swearing I won'****ch but I know I will. I know there are so many bad things about the NFL but it's the only sport I actually watch. One winter it truly saved my sanity and gave me something to look forward to.

Yesterday 1035 calories, 90g protein 88g carbs 11g fat. Not the best but I'm a work in progress.

Thanks JB for all of your hard work!

I bought my FIL frosted Seahawk cookies. When I got up today he had eaten every one! I still made him breakfast.

Good morning! I had my labs drawn today so I'm looking forward to getting those results. I'll go over them next week at my 6 month followup. It took 2 lab techs and 5 needle pokes because my body doesn't like giving up blood at all! I even made sure to be well hydrated, drinking through the night when I woke (to pee...because of the drinking).

I got a text from my brother last night! It just said, "left side paralyzed, I'm still a better drummer than you!" He plays the drums and back in high school he taught me some basic beats but I'm pretty hopeless :P he had his fiancé bring his drum kit to the rehab clinic. He also located his own blood clot, which was still hanging around posing a threat and they had it removed from his brain sometime on Sunday. I'm glad that he seems to be in good spirits!

qotd: I frequently stuggle with fatigue and get tired of weighing and measuring and tracking...but I keep thinking that I'm only going on 6 months out and it's too early to get complacent. Prepping for the week, portioning our my meals, etc helps make it easier to just grab something from the fridge knowing that it's a weighed 3 oz of protein (or whatever it is)

breakfast: coffee and premier

lunch/snacks: turkey deli meat, Greek L&F, and a sting cheese are in my lunch bag

Good morning~ Daisy! Nice to see you here! I'm back to the grind again after a really nice weekend with my son. I only have a 3 day work week because I am taking Friday off to see a PS for a consult! So excited, I've been dreaming about it non-stop!

QOTD - My biggest struggle is emotional. When all is too much I still want to cope with food and have many times over the past 20+ months. Using other coping skills (even when I don't think I need them - talking things out, writing, exercise) to stay even keeled and staying in control (OH, MFP, weight/measuring, planning) is the only thing that keeps me sane and on track.

Accountability - great!

ok, totally off topic but I tried using the search function and couldn't find the thread about the in shower water pik. I think you mentioned it sometime last week...I think you said something about it also cleaning the grout in the shower (that is the part that sticks out-lol). I was wanting more info on the brand and what-not :)
