So sorry the stress is continuing. It is probably a good thing that you have a project right now (exercise room).

Yes, lots of scrubbing is helping to work off the frustration. DW is really angry with the whole situation, so staying on the other side of the house has its advantages too!

Probably no answers until our followup on Thursday, but at least the MRI-Angio is done. That is a relief!

So so happy to see DD2 start us off! Lily and I have our 4 miles in and will do another after supper(WE WILL!!) Accountability sucked yesterday. Steps were 9455(not quite my goal of 10,000) but eating was terrible. Hubby was acting like a bratty 2 year old and the stress didn't help when I found a can of my favorite danish cookies. I ate 4 and would have had more but my stomach started getting queasy. They promptly went in the garbage with nasty stuff puton top for good measure. Then I picked up my knitting instead. QOTD hardest thing is that it is a constant struggle--it never ends because the least little thing can trigger out of control off plan eating so I have to constantly stay alert and have non food options to handle stress. Then I have to fight my fat brain which reminds me I messed up and the scale is up so why bother with your walk. Its a fight every single day to keep making the right choices. Post op 5 years 11 month and weight is 120.4 today(ick!). I don't like this number so today WILL be filled with good choices. Heres the plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli chicken and cheese celery stick with cheese D 4 oz ground beef with salsa and cheese 1/2 c green beans S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added blackberry jam. Have a great day full of smmart choices. Now headed for my first cup of coffee!
Good Morning! Daisy, it's always great to see ya around here. We are still struggling with horrible air quality and heat- I hope it settles down soon.
Accountability: I had a protein bar and Progranola
QOTD: My struggle is the evenings and grazing/snacks. I can totally relate to what you're saying about always thinking about food-it's real for me too.
Time since surgery: 3 years 11 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: Pork rinds, carbmaster cottage cheese and an Iced latte bar when I get home.
D: Buddig turkey, low carb pita, spinach salad with crumbled Bleu cheese, pecans and skinnygirl raspberry vinaigrette dressing, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate
ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal
E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1266 Protein:114 Carbs:102 Fat:55
Have a great one!
Good morning!
QOTD tomorrow is 3 months for me. My struggles are being hungry and trying to determine is it really hunger or boredom, etc.; and I too want to have a day where I'm not "post op" and having to worry about everything that goes into my mouth! But then I sit myself down and say, what the what? You ARE post OP and get with it. I understood this was going to be for the rest of my life, so I just got to put my big girl panties on and deal.
Speaking of "big girl panties ", I went to the consignment shop and found out I have have skinny legs! Well maybe not skinny, but skinnier. I dont have a floor length mirror at my house, so seeing my legs in the mirror of the dressing room was a little surprising. I told my husband this and his response was, "i've been telling you that you can tell you've lost weight." I guess it's true we don't see it ourselves.
Yesterday cals 795, protein 90, carbs 22, fat 37. Today B 1st tea with evaporated milk ( out of half and half) then pepperoni wrapped mozzarella fingers, then more tea. L tuna salad. D cod. Snacks pepperoni wrapped mozzarella.
