What's on your Menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
yep- i try to force solids not slider foods or more 'off plan' foods. Last night i had the choice of a fiber one brownie for 90 cal or a protein bar for 150. both had the same carbs- so went with the protein bar.
I've just been saving my calories for evening- I'm sure that makes the scale higher the next day but I don't get up in the middle of the night anymore and eat all the things I WANTED during the day that I denied myself. so it is constantly a balancing act. Haen't had an episode since June 2 so that is a huge miracle and I think that means my relationship with food is getting better.
Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family!
((DAISY!)) Big Hugs! So great to see you and thank you for starting the menu thread. Also a HUGE thank you to Julia for doing it for so long and so well!
QOTD: I agree with what Daisy said. Also I have a hard time waiting 30 minutes to drink after I eat. I seem to be constantly thirsty so that's a hard one for me. I also don't dump, so I have to be really careful of any special "treats" that I allow myself and I always count them on MFP. I seem to be always looking at the clock to see if enough time has passed and I can eat again. I need to do more things to keep me busy and get my mind off food.
Accountability: Yesterday: Not very good. Totals are high due to some brownies I bought to serve to Saralisa and her boyfriend that kept calling to me. (Darn those things were loud and insistent!) Protein - 91, Calories - 1,515, Carbs - 220.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana
L: ham, cheese & tomato on 45 calorie bread, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: Healthy Choice turkey meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella stick, light & fit Greek yogurt, frozen yogurt
E: walking dogs
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Keeping busy is a huge part of me staying away from unplanned food. That is one of the reasons I go to the gym so much in the evenings. It keeps me out of the kitchen and I get some exercise. I usually come home hungry and tired so I eat my dinner, clean up and go to bed.
Brownies are the devils baking I swear, I love brownies and refuse to make them because I know I could eat a pan all by myself!

Checking in from the radiologist office with DW. Yesterday we got 30 of the 55 minute trip from our house only to get a phone call that they had messed up the mri appointment. So we're going to try again. Lots of stressful driving!
Hi Daisy! Glad to see you started us this morning.
I'm hoping that after I get DW to work that I can get in some telework hours to save a bit of leave time. This evening a friend is coming over to help me with finishing up the transformation of our sunroom into a workout space. I am really excited about the changes!
Menu: very up in the air since the plans for today are unclear. I do have a couple of chomps in my bag to tide me over.
B: HB egg, ham
S1: chomps, protein shake
L: TJ's chicken sausages, baby carrots
S2: turkey breast, apple, almonds
D: balsamic chicken, blueberries
Exercise: more scrubbing

Janet,
Hoping today goes better with the mri. I think the waiting is the hardest.
