What's on your Monday Menu RNY'ers?
Good Morning pouch peeps!! Let's start with a round of applause for JuniperBerry for so craftily keeping the menu thread going for so long. Don't let work swallow you up- but I love your commitment to the kids!
So I can do the thread Mon-Wed-Fri since I have a tendency to wake freakishly early. Other days are my gym days and while I love ya'll I love my new body more. I'm a bit of a renegade and follow the beat of my own drum-- so know I can't acknowledge every post. The point is to get us started -- ya'll have to keep it going.. just consider me a pouch promoter, lol.
hope all had a good weekend. Our northern Canadian friends have a holiday today-- I have a personal holiday called 'too much PTO accumulated'. I'm trying to not to run today as I don't feel 100 percent and it's my off day for exercise -- I may settle for a walk. It'll be beastly got here today.
Qotd: let's talk vitamins.do you take bariatric specifics ones? Store brand? Are you good as good with taking them? And what all do you take? Any Tricks for remembering to take them? Estimate you costs...
I'll admit my work days have me crazy busy and I've been forgetting. I have reminder app on my watch that seems to work when it wants to. I take CVS brand multi's, AM and PM and BJ's brand Calcium citrate 3x/day. Cost is about $25 every 3 months-- but I do buy them when I see a sale sooner. BJ's tends to run out of the citrate- so I'll but it when I see it. I have iron (carbonyl) that I take when ever I can fit it in pproperly spaced out from the other stuff. I must keep a stash at work, in my kitchen and on my nightstand if I have any hope of keeping up with them.

Good Morning Peach and friends,
Thank you JB for keeping the thread going and juggling all of the other balls in your court!
Edit: I can help with the thread on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The QOTD is going to really challenge my brain!
QOTD: I take my vitamins religiously. Currently using up the Flintstones. I can't wait for them to be gone because honestly, I can't stand the chalky taste anymore. I am switching over to something else just not sure what but something that I can just swallow. I also take Citracal calcium citrate petites. They are easy to swallow. I take b12 sublingual every other day. Just had my labs done and they are spot on. Looking forward to reading what everyone else takes so I can get rid of the awful Flintstones.
B: PP chocolate shake
L: tbd - we got in late last night from camping and I need to go to the market but I will figure something out.
D: chicken enchiladas

Morning all! Thanks Peach for getting us started. I'm usually up and going pretty early during the week and am happy to start things if no one else has. I just have real trouble thinking of a QOTD, so might need help with that.
Headed out in a few minutes to take DW for an MRI-Angio. The neurologist is hopeful that it will give us more information about why her first MRI shows scar tissue and she is having confusion and memory loss. She is really scared and an angry mess, so it is time for me to be strong.
QOTD: Quick answer, I switched to PatchMD patches a few months ago for multi, Calcium and Iron. No labwork yet to see how it is going. I also take extra Zinc and K.
Menu: very up in the air
Exercise: have a session with the trainer on the schedule but all depends on DW's appointments.
