Morning Weekenders!

Thanks for all the tips shared yesterday! So many things contribute to staying on track don't they?

Today we are celebrating my sisters birthday! Hitting the beach, and unfortunately, there's a heatwave...so my helium balloons prob won't make it...and I'll be honest, I went overboard on the balloons hahahah

I also made party hats with her picture on them hahaha. I think since surgery, my focus at parties has shifted from food to decor!

Qotd: are you a party planner? Do you enjoy it? I.love.it. I like planning fun parties. But I even enjoy planning work events, like conferences.

Menu:

B: coffee and premier

Lunch and dinner will be at the beach and my parents. I made a roast pork, and I know there are a couple of wls friendly salads on the menu, and a meat and cheese platter. So some combo of that. And probably leftovers for dinner.

have a good one!

Good Morning Folks!

Have fun at the party! Sounds like fun.

Accountability: Yesterday I had fish tacos for dinner. We went to California Pizza Kitchen. We have never been there before and probably won't go back. Not impressed.

QOTD: I'm not a party planner. Most of the time I'd rather hang out with my dog. LOL my husband makes fun of me for that.

B: scrambled egg with a sprinkle of cheese

S: PP chocolate

L: cheese and berries

D: left over fish taco

Happy Sunday!!

Our pets are great companions and often much nicer than people.

Good morning. It's still early here, just after 5 am. Yesterday was wonderful and relaxing. I did a little yard work and just hung out.

The neighbor's house caught on fire last night. That was scary! Everything is so dry here. I am thankful they got it out. It was literally just on the other side of the creek from us. I was ready to grab my dog and bolt!

QOTD- I like to plan small parties. I am trying to get better about entertaining. I always get stressed out though.

Accountability- spot on

Black coffee with Miralax

B- 2 eggs, 1/2 cottage cheese ( This is my go-to breakfast lately, 250 calories, 25 protein. It really keeps me satisfied)

L- 4 oz shredded chicken breast with pico

D-Its going to be hot, so something on the grill or maybe even some cottage cheese and tomatoes.

S-chomps or a light and fit greek yogurt if needed.

Vitamins always and lots of water!

How scary to have a fire so close! Was there alot of damage?

I think the house is probably a total loss. I am not sure what started the fire. It had been for sale and empty for some time.

That is very scary and sad but all things considered, an empty house is the best kind of house to catch fire.
