Good afternoon,

Had to take a friend on errands this morning and I have to be at work at 2pm today.

Yesterday was sweet treats day at work so I indulge on it.

Qotd I got good deals on meat this week, 3-4 dollars on chicken, pork chops, boneless skinless chicken thighs and the said meatloaf.

B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and pork and beans

L tuna, cottage cheese and baby carrots

D not sure, support group

Have a good day

Totally stressful week but today I work from home so I can de-stress a little. I didn't have to be up so early to walk so it wasn't dark. I'm working with a coach from my insurance company to find ways to handle my stress. Hoping some suggestions will work and I can not let this stuff get to me so much.

The scale was kind to me today and I dropped another pound, inching closer to onederland and I'm about half way to my goal weight. I need to focus on the things that are going right and let the rest of it go.

Out of yogurt and some other staples so I'm headed to the grocery store a little later.

QOTD: I've tried not to shop very much so no real bargains lately.

Looking forward to the weekend!

Hi everybody! I'm late again to the party!

JB, so sorry to hear about your former student, but glad you will have a new co-leader.

I got a ton done over the past few days, but still need to change my behaviors in order to really be living as full and productive a life as I have the potential to live. I want to devote at least 2-3 hours a day to learning more and practicing my Adobe skills, it's easy to forget things if you just learn and then don't use them all the time. i want to paint more. I want to write more. And I want to play piano more often. All of these things can be implemented, I just have to discipline my lazy self. Still, overall I am cognizant that losing so much over the past 13 months represents in and of itself an enormous and deep change, so I am proud of that ongoing accomplishment, and not mad at myself. I just want more pleasure, skill, and beauty in my life, and will have to work hard and implement scheduling priorities in order to achieve those things.

Finally down a pound after 8 days of stall! It's ok. I've held steady diet-wise and emotionally, and I know more loss is on the way! 137 here I come - eventually! I'm also closing in on crossing the BMI threshold from being in the Overweight category to being in the Normal category - just a few more pounds to go. Yay!

QOTD: I bought three pairs of heels on sale on Zappos.com. Then when they came i just didn't love them, they were fine but I didn't love them, so I returned them and ordered a pair of gorgeous suede espadrilles from Spain, not on sale, which turned out to run at least a size if not two too small, plus I didn't love their round toes. So I sent those back, and instead I ordered a pair of black suede knee-high boots which I loved, except I found the foot part to be a little too snug. So I sent those back and exchanged them for a half size larger. Then I found the same boots in grey suede on 6pm.com, Zappos sister site and where they send their close-outs. My boots were originally $170, I bought my black ones for $125 on sale, and found the grey ones for just $50! So I snapped those up. Then two days after my correctly fitting black boots arrived, I saw them show up on 6PM for $42 less than I'd paid! So I called Zappos and asked if they would credit me the difference - which they did! So in the end, I bought and returned 4 pairs of shoes plus one pair of boots, and received my final pair of boots from Zappos. They paid for the shipping both ways in each case, plus my grey boots just met the 6PM threshold for free shipping. In the end I had a refund of $42 and two gorgeous pairs of boots. And each interaction with Zappos customer service couldn't have been nicer. After all that I half expected them to tell me I had gone past the free shipping limit, but no. And then that refund was the cherry on top. Score!

NOTE: I can't seem to place photos into my posts lately. Don't know what I'm doing wrong! I'll post this, then try again.

Me too, thanks! They're just 3" heels but look higher, and are very comfortable. Plus the shaft easily zips up to my knees and is neither too hip-wader large on my calves, nor too sausage-casing tight. Goldilocks!

Thanks! I'm hanging in! I'm excited about crossing the Overweight-to-Normal border soon. It's been years and years since I was there!
