What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning menu friends! Today's our last work day and we'll head home tomorrow morning. Lily and I did 1.5 miles this morning and will walk another 3 tonight after supper. We saw a beautiful sunset last night when we were walking. No phone with me or I would have taken a picture. Accountability was great yesterday. I changed supper up with scrambled eggs and sausage instead of the plan and had 12,642 steps at day's end. Post op 5 years 11 months and weight at 119.4btoday. Heres the meals B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli turkey with cheese 2 celery stics D 4 oz green onion pork sausage 1/2 c cauliflower S 3/4 c smartpop white cheddar string cheese. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!
You definitely have this JB! So nice that Grim probably knew you wouldn't have eaten properly again. Thanks for the chuckle from your joke.
We have muggy, muggy, muggy weather again. Thank goodness for central air. I was never a fan of it in the past, but there would be no sleep if I didn't have AC these days (plus it gets so humid on Cape Cod that mold can become a big issue in the house without it).
QOTD: DH was an attorney so I always look for lawyer jokes:
Accountability: Good but weight is up a pound. Hopefully because I drank so much water yesterday after taking a VERY HOT walk along Cape Cod Canal.
2 Years, 4 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 20 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Grilled chicken
S: Siggis yogurt

Good morning folks!
I haven't been posting for a few weeks because I've been working off-site and I just can't bring myself to fuss with typing all this out on my phone. I think I've seen through to the end of my second "mini-stall". Or maybe this is just what my weight loss pattern is going to look like - 10lbs down, then hold for a couple of weeks. Rinse, repeat.
I'm about 3 months from the start of my pre-op diet, and here is where the hair loss is starting to ramp up. I keep telling myself that it's temporary and I'll get through it. I fortunately have rather thick hair, so fingers crossed that it doesn't get too bad.
I started working out again last week. My first day, I had a protein shake and then went on in. I made it halfway through the class and then started feeling dizzy every time I would stand up or try a few movements. My coach knows about my surgery and after reviewing the facts, we came to the conclusion that my blood sugar dipped pretty low. (I never had diabetes before surgery so I don't have any kind of sugar testing kit to confirm that speculation.) My nutritionist agreed it was likely, and suggested about 15g of easy burning carbs before workout. So the cottage cheese and grapefruit have been working well for the past couple of days.
QOTD: My joke is a little geeky, but I hope someone works in this industry and can appreciate it...
Q: What do you call a group of network engineers?
A: An outage.
Food plan today:
B: Premier Protein
L: 1 oz beef jerky, .75oz square of cabot lite cheddar
Sn: 1/4c 2% cottage cheese, 1/4c no sugar added grapefruit sections
D: Not sure. My daughter's 4th birthday was yesterday and her party is this weekend. Our house is kind of in chaos, so we might go out.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning,
Its pajama day at work, it feels weird to wear them to work. Speaking of work, I had a better day yesterday. Today I have to be in at 9 am due to they fired 2 people this week for coming in high to work. Also I don't know how you full time people do it to post and be able to read the post all the time. I feel I don't have enough hours in a day to come back to read them.
Yesterday I ate a donut at work. Also didn't eat my grapes at dinner , had too much chicken.
Qotd these are out of the AARP bulletin
Fred: I've been dating a girl who carries a Taser everywhere

007: what's my orders?
