What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning!
JB glad your day was better. I truly hope things continue to improve for you!
QOTD: Can a kangaroo jump higher than a house? Of course, a house doesn't jump at all.
Today I am getting to the gym, running up to my classroom for a few minutes, packing (weekend camping) and then going to my 6-month appointment with the NP. (I'm a month behind because I am 7 months out.) I am eager to hear about my blood work. I get so tired so fast and I am just wondering if something is off. Also, I have been having dizzy spells, so I am going to ask her about that. Food has been a turn off as of late, so I am guessing I will keep it simple. Have a great weekend!
B: PP chocolate shake
L: PP chocolate shake
D: chicken sausage with summer veggie medley

I have those occasionally as well. I had a complete workup a couple of months ago, and everything came back normal. I'm starting to think mine might be glucose-related, though. I ate a piece of cake at a staff social last month, and the dizziness (and blurry vision - and slight nausea) started up about two hours later. Plus there are times when my glucose level is really low - like 50-ish. I ran it by my PCP when I was in a couple of weeks ago for something else, and she said that's certainly possible. I just try to eat something about every three hours now just to keep the level fairly stable.
Morning menu folks!
JB, glad that yesterday went better. Keep breathing and drinking your fluids and try to take short breaks when you can.
I am back working from home today. I was in the office yesterday and was in alot of pain and got permission to work from home again today and tomorrow. I'll still try to get alot done, but I can put my foot up better and crash in the recliner on my breaks!
I've taken the week totally off exercise, which feels very strange, to give my toe a better chance to heal. I'm going to work with my trainer tomorrow but we will modify the routine to not put stress on my foot. I would also like to go swimming this weekend since that won't put weight on it either. It will feel good to move my body again.
Swing chickens our way this afternoon, friends. I am going with DW to see the neurologist to follow up on a bad MRI of the brain. We don't know what is causing the problems but I trust the doc that he will do all he can to find out and treat her. Hopefully more info soon! We're both stressed though...

Good luck with the appointment. I know it is very concerning. I hope you don't get a wait and see what happens diagnosis.

Sending good juju to you and DW. It's good when you have confidence in the doc, that's at least a variable taken care of.
