What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?

I know exactly what you mean by the intensity and twistedness. James Norton's Tommy was acted to perfection. I wonder about actors, how they can feel peaceful when they virtually inhabit the crazy and dangerous lives and minds of some of their characters. It's not as strange in purely action films, but the deeper psychological studies must be very weird to do. I was really struck by this in season 4 of Dexter, wherein John Lithgow, who has often played charming comedic bumblers, portrayed such a horrific killer so brilliantly.

Oh, I didn't know James norton was in Happy Valley!! I will need to watch it now. I am living in hope that either he or Idris Elba will be the next Bond (or Hugh Jackman, because he should be in all the movies).

Good morning! Last nights paint and sip was fun but I was taking the Harry Potter trivia way too seriously! I was getting mad because I had my hand up first for every single question and rarely got called to answer first (but I picked up points when the first people to answer got it wrong). My competitive nature was just on overboard. The questions weren't too difficult, but I was obviously playing with a bunch of adults who'd only seen the movies because of their kids or whatever, so I was the only one who knew the book answers. Booyah!!
Qotd: in high school I dropped some blue food coloring in water and filled an empty Listerine mouthwash bottle with blue water. Drank out of that at school. It was not April fools day or anything, and I got some truly disgusted looks. Wonderful!
my tummy has been upset all night and I was up in the bathroom what seems like half the night. I'm not sure what I ate that might have caused it. We just drank water at the paint and sip and had hamburger patties at home for dinner. So today I'm taking a yogurt, and a string cheese, and a Premier Protein and I think that's it. Dinner TBD

I don't know but I hope it passes quickly. I don't feel sick, but I'm not keen on running to the bathroom all day at work

That's a pretty good one, especially on a non-April Fools Day

YOU CAN DO IT!!!
hi all- did ok yesterday. had to work a bit last night but all is fine. I did have yogurt and some roasted turkey breast I bought at the store. I think I'm going to change it up and only have meat veg today and see if that gets the scale moving. I was having yogurt and liquids more yesterday.
Food plan for today:
coffee
water
turkey/squash/onions
pork chop/collards
not sure on dinner- we are supposed to do trivai tonight but DH is trying to flake on me
HAVE to go to the gym- took yesterday and Monday off from not feeling well.
QOTD: not really anything I can think of at this moment. My husband once convinced my aunt he got his head stuck in the toilet one time.
