What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! Day 2 back to work. I'm still in vacation mode I think. I was burning out a little before last week, so I'm glad for the R&R. I'm getting lots done, but my head and heart are still very much north. I'm back this week and then off for 2 but staying home. I plan on doing a bunch of stuff around the house, taking the kids to the beach, local fishing, nothing much else if I can avoid it.
The ride in was good, but there's a "click" in my bike's drive train that I have to diagnose and fix. Grrrrr......but I have my suspicions on what it is.
Menu: Protein bar/coffee (surprise surprise) for breakfast. I added a handful of cherries this time though, before my kids inhale them all. For snacks today I'm just doing a shake. Lunch is turkey/cheese/cucumber mixed and supper will be something similarly on point.
QOTD: I think I would survive prison. I don't have a frame of reference or particular reason I believe that, but I just feel that I would adjust to the surroundings and keep my head low. I too would hate it, but learn to get by. I'm more than capable of defending myself in most cases, but I would make every effort to keep the peace and not confront anyone, just bide my time.
Happy Tuesday! Today is Harry Potter's birthday, he would be 38. You know, if he were a real person. DH and I are going to one of those "paint and sip" things and it's Harry Potter themed for the occasion. We won't be "sipping" though.
qotd: I'm very adaptable and easy going, so I might do ok, but I also like my creature comforts, so I might crack based on that.
breakfast: coffee and premier
snack (not sure when exactly I'll eat this) cinnamon swirl Greek L&F
lunch: 3 oz deli turkey, 1 slice provolone. Side story: I wanted Swiss, and I just bought some yesterday. Opened the brand new package and it was moldy!
Dinner: I have ground beef to cook in the fridge but I don't know what I'm doing with it, and we need to be at that paint thing by 7. I'm thinking taco meat.

Gasp!
if you're a reader, I highly recommend reading the books before seeing the movies, if you decide to take the plunge. The movies are full of holes that don't make sense unless you've read the books.
Of course I know plenty of people who've only seen the movies and are blissful in their plot ignorance :P
