What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning everyone! Well... "good middle of the night", here, actually. I am too stressed to sleep so I just woke up at 3 and decided to start my day. Why toss and turn? Might as well just get up and do it, right?! Bring it on Tuesday. Bring. it. On.
No tacos for me tonight... I had some really nice fish tacos on Saturday, and I am going back to the same restaurant, so think I will be having some more on Friday evening :)
QOTD: As I mentioned yesterday, I binged all of Orange is the New Black, which leads me to wonder... would you survive prison? I'm sure I would hate every second of not having my freedom and would resent the guards and bullying so much...But I also think that I have a pretty strong social game, and I could develop the friendships and loyalties I would need to survive.
Accountability: I have no idea what I did yesterday. I have tons and tons of protein forward snacks in my office and I ate a lot of them. I don't think there was a carb in the bunch, but I know I must have gone over calories. It was a BIG pouch day. I also poured a glass of rose when I walked in the door. I won't let it be a habit, but it was lovely.
Morning!
i had an Opposite Day yesterday. Tiny pouch day. Day 2 of camaw is a going to be tougher though. I went to the movies instead of the grocery store...sooo lunch is going to be boiled eggs and hope I can hunt down another can of tuna?
Qotd: Id probably go in with the intent of keeping my head down, but end up leading a revolt against living conditions and definitely not doing myself any favours.
Menu:
B: coffee and premier
L: boiled eggs
D: ground beef somehow. Maybe taco-fied?
S: boiled eggs? Tuna? Yikes!

Good morning menu friends! Just finished breakfast here and will head out with Miss Lily in a few minutes. The road we walk on here is a well traveled country road and I try to make sure we are visible before we head out. Three more days of work here and then we're headed home for 3 weeks. Our next trip is to a church camp in Eva,Tennesse. QOTD hope to never find out how I'd do in prison. I'm a strong person though so guess I'd get through it. Accountability good steps 12,237 and no extra bites. Post op 5 years 11 months and weight at 119.2. Heres todays food B1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli turkey and cheese 3 cheese crisps D 4 oz baked salmon 1/2 c green beans S 1 c Smartpop popcorn white cheddar and piece of string cheese. Have a great day everyone and make smart and conscious choices! Heading out with Lily now--my first good choice of the day!
Only 4 days 'til Friday! =)
QoTD: I'd find and befriend me a Red type. Those older ladies in OITNB are nothing to mess with and cracked me up the last couple seasons I watched!
B: bacon Sous Vide egg bites (Addicted much? Yes! Lol)
L: Greek salad
D: Dill roasted veggies and.... not sure on the meat part yet. Maybe kielbasa, I think.
Accountability: After the gym last night, I sat on the back porch with the hubby and drank some wine. Then I had seconds. I ruined my macros for the day. I've been doing so good with little to no carb meals for over a month. Today and the rest of this week will be a strict, no creamer/Splenda/extra-anything kind of week!

I love Red. Did you see he most recent season? She is such a badass.
Stress equals big pouch day. I've learned that for me bigger eating days are okay as long as they aren't everyday and are averaged with smaller ones.
Thanks for the taco reminder. We have some leftovers to get through but then I want to try making my own version of fish tacos. Yumm...
How is the new season of a Orange is the New Black btw? I haven't started it yet.
QOTD: Interesting question to ponder since I sure hope I never have to experience it. I guess my answer would be similar to yours. Initially I think I would be panicking inside and the lack of freedom would make me feel somewhat crazy. But I think I could become part of some group I would be able to relate with to survive and not be lonely. But geez, I really don't want to find out!
2 Years, 4 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 20 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Grilled chicken
S: home-made yogurt

I didn't love the most recent season like the others, but it was still great!
I'm back and feeling better. Still getting a little ill after protein packed dense meals like last night. might do yogurts/shakes today until dinner time like yesterday. The scale decoded to only drop .2 pounds also so what the heck. The good news is that since May I've lost 18.8 inches from my body so the weight lifting and exercise routine is working though I weigh more ! Gotta be patient on this and not freak over the scale.
QOTD: I think I would do well. probably be the one that 'gets' things for people through the superhopping lol
Food for today:
yogurt
coffee
more yogurt
shake
pork chop for dinner with squash onions and collards
Oh and I helped install the tile backspash last night- we are almost done with it so it will be a photo friday- the cabinets still need painting but you will get the idea of the goal. The upper cabinets will be white, lower a dark navy. Subway tile is white with light gray grout.
Is this the first time you've done tile? I'd love to try it, but have no confidence in my ability!
Great results on the inches lost, btw!
