I think you're totally right, I haven't been tracking for many reasons but I didn't realize how low my protein was. I'm going to the store today and I'm going to pick some up.

QOTD: I watched the first 8 episodes of Orange is the New Black.

Today was day 7 of walking 2+ miles in the mornings. This morning was a real slog, it was still warm from yesterday we got close to 100 and didn't cool down last night. Yesterday I did 2.3 miles and then mowed my lawn, hung out 2 loads of laundry and I spent the rest of the day inside. Even at about 7pm it was still 96 by my thermometer. Heat advisory in effect until 10PM tonight.

Struggling with work, today I just didn't want to go to work. I've got multiple projects I should be working on but getting started it difficult. As usual a coworker brought in bagels, and has to tell me they are there. Bread is my weakness and I love bagels so I'm just ignoring them. He knows I've had WLS and sometimes apologizes for telling me, but it almost feels like a bit of sabotage, or maybe I'm just in a bad mood.

Morning~ That's all I got....came in today to find ALL the computers in my dept had to be re-imaged - set back to factory - so everyone's desktop is gone. I know better and usually back all my stuff except this one spreadsheet I worked on for 3 days last week is gone. It is massive and I'm crying right now.... Luckily I had emailed it last Tuesday so I have a recent copy but now I have 3 days to make up for and it was nightmare, ugh.

I had a WONDERFUL weekend, just perfect and not even this morning mess can spoil that!

QOTD - I finished Poldark recently and started watching Anne with an E, but I can't get into it. I keep comparing it to the movie/s which I've seen 100+ times, LOVE and know by heart. The show just doesn't live up ;(

Accountability - I went way over on cals but it was all protein - an extra yogurt and my lunch carnitas meat leftovers for an evening snack. I wasn't hungry, just wanted something.

20 mo post op - 164.3

b- coffee x 3, L&F yogurt

l-ham and smoked gouda

d-chicken tenders

e-greek yogurt w/SF syrup freezy

Computer issues are the worst! I hope it doesn't take you too long to get it all squared away.

On man, sorry about your spreadsheet, I get so frustrated at that kind of thing.

I'm falling back into the evening snack just because I want something practice too 0.0 I really have to watch out for that. It was so normal and an everyday thing before surgery :/ oh well guess we just have to keep on chugging on and trying to make the right choices, right? lol

I am trying to build an evening routine around hot tea vs snacks. It's part of trying to fix my life long sleep issues, I am hoping to one day find a decaf tea that is as tasty as the salted Carmel tea that Au contraire introduced me (and others) to!

That's what I've done for YEARS - the tea or coffee as my evening treat (the salted caramel - yum) instead of food (really lucky caffeine doesn't effect me). I don't know what happened last night or why I allowed the extra food because on plan protein or not, it's a slippery slope.

I don't think I'm overly sensitive to caffeine but I do try to avoid it after about noon; I've always had sleep issues and it's one of those things they recommend; since it's never made a difference, I'm thinking about picking a friday night and trying a late night black tea and see if maybe it has the opposite effect and puts me to sleep, lol.
