How fun! We are so lucky to have the technology these days to stay in touch over long distances; when I FaceTime with my cousins in Oz we always talk about the days there were only letters and they took so long...and if someone called, you knew it was bad news.

I know life has changed...

Well I am celebrating a week because it's a special one - 60. 60 you get a week. It is a fact.

LOL: Enjoy your week! I went to a resort in Riviera Maya for a week when I turned 60, so apparently it is true. You look absolutely gorgeous in that fabulous dress btw!

Which resort did you go too? My husband and I leave on the 20th for Secrets Capri in Riviera Maya! It will be our first time to Mexico and I am a very nervous traveler so would LOVE any advice or tips you may have :)

We stayed at Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso in September 2015. It was incredibly hot (more than we expected). We went to Tulum on a day trip and nearly melted. I wish we had skipped that (or gone to Mexico when it was cooler). We found that we enjoyed it most when we stayed within our resort and enjoyed the activities there, especially the ocean during the day. It was cooler and quieter there than at the sal****er pool.
