What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Julia, you look great in both pictures.
QOTD: I grew up in a small town 35 miles east of Kansas City, MO. Now, I live probably 45 miles from there. I never liked the small town and was very happy to move to the city. I have no family there. My dad passed away in 2002 so I've never been back there.
I'm so bummed. Got a call from my doctor's office that my bone density test shows I have Osteoperosis. I was shocked. I did some Internet searchs and have gone back on fish oil and I'm going to start exercising. The Community Center has a gym and it's fee for me. My Tryglycerides are 50 points above the maximum and I have no idea why that it. This is the first time my labs haven't been good. The doctor said to avoid saturated fat and I do.
Hoping I'm able to add photos today. One is the monster quilt. I washed the quilt and sprayed the stain plus added Borax to the wash, but the stain is still visible but much lighter. The white strips are where I sewed the pieces back together and the strip covers the seam. Never heard of this being done, but maybe I'm setting a new trend. Probably not. The other picture is Bernie, my precious pup.
Menu:
Steel cut oats w/walnuts
Cup of Soup; salad w/Feta cheese; boiled egg
Protein shake
Pot stickers; risotta; green beans
Greek yogurt

Happy Friday all!
JB, that dog photo is hilarious! And you are so cute in both pics, though so much slimmer now!
It's an utterly gorgeous day up here on the island - pouring down sunshine, a perfect 78 breezy degrees, blue skies that go on forever, sparkling blue water everywhere! Yesterday an enormous bald eagle flew low right over my head. I took that as a sign and a blessing!
Today is my kiddo's birthday! Hard to believe he's as old as he is now (and I'm 25 years older than that!)! I remember so well waiting and waiting for him to come, and then finally the day he was born. I am so proud of him.
