Good morning! I thought Friday would never come. I think this week felt particularly long because of all of the pain I've been experiencing and having to tough it out at work. Feeling a lot better today, but still getting sore/stabby pains randomly.
Update: CT scan is scheduled for Thursday morning since I'll probably be out of town till Wednesday. I'm 90% sure that they will finally determine that it is (or was) a kidney stone. Still haven't seen any evidence lol. The other 10% of me is playing the "what if it's cancer" game. My mom had renal cancer and so I can't get that thought to just shut up and go away. My gut tells me it's totally fine, but my head keeps trying to convince me that I'm not special, thus not invincible. I can't wait to just get this over with!!!
accountability; horrrrrrible. stress eating like a motherlover :(
qotd: I live probably 5 miles from my childhood home. SO CLOSE but far enough away that I feel like I have enough space haha
b- keto shake, coffee (with too much cream)
l- greek yogurt with splenda and fresh raspberries
s- protein shake with coffee
d- tbd (we are hitting the road as soon as I get home from work. might pitstop at the grocery store so I can get something to make turkey rollups or something on the healthy side
today's pic is of me and hubby at a friend's wedding. The venue owners had a deer that decided to make itself part of the family and would come in and out as he pleased lol. this is not me at my heaviest but it is older

Hopefully you can keep yourself distracted this week; that kind of anxiety is so wearing (not to mention the pain!). Have a good weekend!

I'm glad you are feeling better today despite some continuing pain. I hope all this will be properly diagnosed with the CT scan, and you that will receive any treatment you need to be completely in the pink! Lovely pic of you btw - love your sleeve, your handsome DH, and how about that deer!

Yesterday was hard! They announced that I had given my notice at work and I was leaving. I manage a nonprofit meal site for seniors. I cook all the food from scratch, menu plan, etc. I have been there for 15 years. There were many tears shed by my seniors. I know it is the right decision. I am so happy that I have made such an impact on their lives. My boss has been very rude to me since I gave him my notice. I will not him steal my joy!
I am meeting with my new supervisor today. We are going to go over logistics and get a plan for my success! I am excited. I think I will feel better after I talk to him. My sleep schedule has been off. I wake up in the middle of the night with the random what-if scenarios.
QOTD- I live about 10 miles from where I grew up in the PNW. I am about 45 miles from Portland in a small town. I love it.
coffee
B- 2 scrambled eggs, 1 sliced smoked chicken andouille sausage, 1 oz light mozzarella, 1 T. ketchup
(do you think eating 2 eggs is too much)
Its 360 calories, 4 carbs and 30 protein
L- 4 oz shredded chicken breast with salsa
D-something on the grill.
I have not been having an appetite in the evenings. I think it may be the heat.
Lots of water and vitamins always. Really trying to focus on protein only and get to goal.

Ugh, I hate when people are mean because you are moving on; it's probably because he has no plan to replace you and is terrified! Hope the notice period goes fast!
