Good morning all!
Yesterday's snack and dinner did not go as planned. I did something to my knee and it snaps and is super painful every time I walk. I let stress get the best of me and I ended up eating a He-Man sized plate of pasta(boo!) and crock potted chicken(yay!) that was pretty much smothered in cheese(boo!). The main objective for today is to get to the doctor to check out this knee and find a way to deal with my emotions other than food. My mantra today is Food is Fuel. Food is Fuel.
It's amazingly helpful to see everyone posts. It's really inspiring and a great teacher that healthy eating is not only possible but also, ENJOYABLE.
Here's today's menu:
Coffee mocha kale protein shake
greek yogurt, pear
chicken, salad with cucumbers and tomatoes, 1tsp dressing
cheesestick, apple
Taco salad-taco meat with lettuce, pepper, tomato, cucumber
