What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Yo! It's Friday Eve! What a long week...But it is nice to see the finish line! I had an exceptionally long day yesterday and I let my mind race all night about deadlines that are stressing me out, instead of sleeping (which would have been so much more helpful). Whoops.
Accountability: Meh, ok. I was super busy and distracted all day and didn't eat much but then I went out to dinner and had a higher calorie meal than was on my menu, so it probably evened itself out. I haven't gone back into MFP to correct yet, though.
QOTD: Is there a famous person who you have ever been a little obsessed about and know a lot about their personal lives and stuff? I have never gotten into anyone that much, but I have a friend who is literally MAD about David Bowie (R.I.P.). She traveled the world to see him perform and to museum exhibits about him in Europe, etc. and you can count on the fact that if there is every anything Bowie related she owns it and/or is an expert on it.
Morning all! This week has seemed to drag for me too, and today will be a busy and stressful day at work on top of it.
With some research, I found a kickboxing gym close to my house that had a special on a trial membership. I have my first class this evening after work and am hopeful that I enjoy trying something new. I also was looking for a convenient gym that has spinning and there is a Gold's close. Unfortunately all of their cycling classes require a premium membership of $100/month plus yearly membership fees and a year's commitment! I'm just not willing to do that right now when I don't even know if I'll enjoy it and want to continue. I'm keeping my eyes open on GroupOn for specials though and I may yet try it.
Not much chance of rain here today, but in the high 80s again. I'd like to get out and do a lunchtime walk today for a stress relief break. We'll see.

wow thats expensive- ask for a week trial at anyplace you might be interested in. I did this for 2 months until I made a decision. I joined the no frills for $30 a month but for $40 there is a place a bit further with a pool so once things shape up I may join there also just for the pool and the les mills classes

I usually have 4 or 5 almonds first thing in the morning to have something in my stomach to cushion the pills I take. I also keep a bag of almonds at my desk and will sometimes have 2-5 if I am just terribly munchy before lunch. I am very careful to count them out and then close the bag and put it away. I make sure that I don't have more than a dozen total in a day so that the calories don't add up too much. On the other hand, I could never just do 5 Cheetos or Triscuits! That would be the whole bag!

Good morning! Today is going to be a good day, sprinkled with a little stress and emotion. I officially received and accepted an offer yesterday for the position that I interviewed for last week. I also gave notice yesterday at my current job. My current job is not happy that I am leaving. I am excited and nervous all in one and ready for new adventures. This is a huge NSV for me. I was also thinking last night before bed, none of these people knew me when I was obese. I feel like its a new start in many ways.
QOTD- I have no obsessions
Menu for today-
black coffee with Miralax
1 egg, 1 smoked andouille chicken sausage
cottage cheese, tomatoes
chomps
grilled fish ( I didn't eat it last night)
Lots of water and vitamins always
Have a great day and be kind!
So excited that you have a new challenge. Hope that the wrap up goes smoothly!
