Hi everyone,

I've been on these boards quite a bit looking for answers to questions and I thought I would say hello. My RNY was on July 10 so I am about two weeks post op. I'm just starting puréed foods and ate a glorious poached egg yesterday. My husband had the same surgery two years ago. We blog together about it at https://infatnessandhealth.wordpress.com. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for all the great advice on here.

Yesterday I made a bit of a Mexican themed purée with puréed chicken, salsa (the juice part), melted cheese and cottage cheese layered like a dip. Yum! Any other favourite purée recipes?

Welcome to the boards! A really good resource for purees is The World According to Eggface. I loved Shelly's ricotta bake. My surgery was almost five years ago, so I don't really remember a whole lot about the puree stage, other than Taco Bell refried beans being like manna from heaven!

Welcome! Second suggestion to check out eggfaces blog/recipes. I liked having yogurt/cottage cheese/refried beans with melted cheese. Good luck on your journey.
