What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Morning. It's Wednesday. Enough said. But I do second the happy birthday to NYMom!!! Hope you have a great day, Cynthia!! Aco****ability was not great. It was good until night time. As some of you may know, I have hypoglycemia, and last night was a low night. I had trouble stabilizing, so extra food was consumed. I'm still struggling this morning as I just can't get my sugar to a stable level.
JBQOTD: I had one of those days yesterday. I had a court appearance in Orange County which is about 58 miles from my office. It took 2 hours to get there and 3 hours to get back. I have sirius radio, so really the world is open to me. If I'm mellow and it won't give me road rage, I sometimes listen to the news stations (that doesn't happen often since pretty much everything in the news gives me road rage). I do listen to a lot of music. I never do books on tape and I never drive in silence. I need noise to distract the thoughts in my head.
My plan:
B: Egg salad
L: Leftover steak
D: Tri Tip (I think although it's a late night at the gym, so I'm not actually sure)
S: a latte if I get off my butt and walk to either Starbucks or Coffee Bean. Likely a yogurt before the gym
E: Spin and TRX if my sugar stabilizes

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It uses straps that attach to the ceiling. you use the straps with your hands and feet to do a full body workout where you basically lift your body weight It incorporates push ups, planks, squats, lunges, and upper body exercises. I love it.

QOTD I'm in the car 2 hrs a day and listen to local stations for traffic reports. When I get off of the interstate, I have about 15 mins more so that's when I turn off the radio, start slowing down from the 80 mph I drove on the interstate and begin to relax. By the time I get home, I can speak to DH in a pleasant tone, lol.
Yesterday cals 734, protein 75, carbs 17, fat 39. Walked yesterday, 1st time since last Thursday ugh. Today B 1st tea with half and half then boiled egg. L grilled chicken, D TBD. Snacks deli chicken, light mini babybel.

medical update: heard back from my doctor yesterday and she said that my renal ultrasound was inconclusive so now I have to get a ct scan. Oh joy haha.
