My absolute favorite is Shaw's Lucerne 2%. I don't know why but it just seems creamier. When I am in Florida, I eat the comparable Publix brand but it's not the same.

hi all!!!
QOTD: if I am alone and haven't used up my internet, I listen to audible books. Or I call someone. I usually only call my middle sister or my mom, but sometimes I call my dad or my oldest sister. I just started the second devil wears prada book. who knew there was a series? I didn't until yesterday!!
weight staying the same but inches are going down so that is truly progress!!
food for today:
leftover pork chop/coleslaw
protein pancakes i think
coffee
water
dinner we are going to trivia with the people that bought our house in january (strange but true) they are super nice people and we are in the beginning stage of friendship with them. it is at an italian place- scoped the menu and held back about 250 calories from yesterday- think im going to order the meatballs and sauce? or salad and pizza toppings, not quite sure. worst case there is chicken wings my fav...
tiling in shower is going well, i think he will be done Friday!! and we will have an all new downstairs bath with beautiful carrara marble tile.

I love the Turtle & strawberry!
Accountability: there was a piece of cake with lots of icing yesterday that I ate. It tasted so good but gave me wicked RH and I was so mad/disappointed at myself for giving in to temptation, I love cake and the struggle is real! Back at the grind of protein and no sugar today!
QOTD: I love silence in the car, actually I prefer silence over talking or radio. When Hubby and I do road trips and when I am driving he sleeps so I often just get lots in my own thoughts and look at the scenery. Or I will have the radio (XM radio) on low so as not to wake him up. I love music and talk radio so I can listen to both. I am a "live in my head" kind of person so even if the radio is on the voices in my head often drown it out! LOL LOL
4.8 yrs since RNY surgery - eats today:
B: 2 PP used a creamer in my decaf coffee all day
L: can of tuna with balsamic
S: 1/2 a Gala apple
D: one grilled pork chop & mixed greens with balsamic
S: activia yogurt
TOTALS: 747 calories, 110 protein, 34 carbs
V: patches are on, oral B12 sublingual
E: might go to 60 min boot camp or take the night off, not sure yet will decide when I get home from work
Have a great day everyone!

Cake is evil! I used to buy bakery sheet cakes just to have. I have not had cake since surgery. It scares me.
Good Morning! That does look like one happy turtle.
Accountability: I added a PB&J on a low carb pita and some cheese whisps
QOTD: I usually just listen to a variety of tunes. I have Sirius radio so I'll listen to The Message/80's, 90's and Hits 1.

Have a great one!
Mornin'!
I just have a few minutes before I have to jump in the shower and take the cat over to the vet's (nothing serious - yearly check-up). I'm finally done with a huge project I had to do for the organization I chair (finished early this morning) - thank God! A huge thing I can now check off my list. So a big chunk of today will be dedicated to reading more of the trust documents. I'm done with all except the durable POA and the trust itself - but I'm about halfway through the POA. Difficult reading, as most of these materials are. But only about 10 more pages of that (i.e., the POA). The trust document will take forever to read through, though. At least I won't have this other project on my mind anymore so I can dedicate my life to plowing through the rest of this legal stuff!
not much else on the agenda today. Tomorrow I leave for Chicago and Friday I leave from there to go to Ohio for a few days. DH will stay home with the kitties.
Accountability was fine yesterday, but not so good the day before. Weight was up a pound this morning. I did eat a bowl of high-fiber cereal at dinner time last night to stop myself from mindless eating (it works most of the time - All.That.Fiber), so I'm probably pretty "full of it" this morning. Hopefully this pound will be gone tomorrow!
QOTD: the only time I really listen to music anymore is when I'm in the car, and I channel surf a lot. On long trips, I listen to NPR a lot as well. Or sometimes talk radio shows as long as they're not ones that make my blood boil. On a couple of trips to NC, I've borrowed some CDs from the library, too. I also stop every couple of hours just to stretch and walk around a little. Anything to keep me from going bonkers. I really don't like road trips that are more than two or three hours long!
3 years 1 month out:
B: Greek yogurt with raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein latte shake
L: I think a salad with a slice or two of cold chicken breast
AS: crustless protein pumpkin pie
D: ?? something safe
