What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?

Good morning menu friends! Cloudy looking day here near Springfield Illinois but Lily and I got 4.2 miles in so it doesn't matter if it rains. We'll do another mile plus after supper too. Church is the only thing on the books for today and laundry which I'm already working on. Imagine I'll get some knitting done too. Last night all the work team got together for a game night. I knitted, chatted and watched them eat coconut cake and pieces of a big chocolate chip cookie. It was like my own personal hell! QOTD haven't been to a theatre in probably 20 plus years. Accountability was good even though I was angry at the temptations I made the right choice and stayed on plan. Post op 5 years 10.75 months and weight at 119 today. Good steps yesterday(11,547). Here's the food for today B 1/2 c oats with protein and peanut butter L unsure as going out with work team after churvh--good options on the menu though D 4 oz burger with cheese and no bun if needed 1/2 c lettuce S 1/2 c watermelon piece of smoked string cheese. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone! Time for COFFEE!

Glad you were an overcome concerning the sweets! That is so tough. At our church functions, I think the dessert tables are more laden the food tables! I used to like that, lol.

I had a good "girls" day yesterday with 2 SILs and the 2 daughters of one of them. We went to a craft fair, out to lunch, out to dinner on the water and talked a LOT!

QOTD: I don't remember. I don't like movie theatres. I get too nudgy so I usually wait to watch movies at home. I would guess it was with DS to see a Star Wars movie or something like that...

2 Years, 3.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19.5 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: Leftover short rib, I think...

S: yogurt

Here on Cape Cod there are fairs somewhere every weekend and a lot of the booths are the same. A company actually coordinates most of them. We did find one unique one though. The 3 of us going to Europe this fall bought small nylon pouches with super strong magnet attachments to wear on excercise pants. They will hold a phone and credit card/money. You can also wear them so the pouch is inside your pants with your passport in it for international travel.

Mornin' Weekenders!

I need to spend a chunk of time going over my trust documents today as any changes that need to be made need to be brought to the lawyer's attention within 45 days, else we'll be charged for them. Usually 45 days would be plenty of time, but between my upcoming trip to Ohio and then surgery and probably a rough first-week after surgery, I have fewer days than that. I also need to clean the kitchen (and temporarily box up a lot of the stuff I have sitting on the counters) because the guy from the kitchen store is coming to measure them tomorrow. This whole house is driving me nuts - it needs to be cleaned from top to bottom, but I don't have the motivation. It just seems overwhelming....

I'm also meeting up with my friend from Turkey later on this afternoon - she wants to go to the 5:30 yoga class with me (she went last week and loved it) - but we'll probably meet around 3:00-ish and hang out for awhile before going to class.

QOTD: DH and I went to see "RBG" at our second-run theatre a couple of nights ago.

3 years 1 month out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, 1/2 mango

MS: coffee with half and half, Miralax/protein latte shake

L: probably salad with some kind of protein on it

AS: yogurt?

D: not sure as I'll be with my friend. Worst case scenario, I always have protein bars with me!

ex: yoga

Good morning! A bit annoyed today already. Yesterday we were supposed to go out of town and those plans got cancelled. We had a low key chill day - frankly I was bored out of my mind and I rarely ever get that way. Today I had a great hike and lunch on the coast planned and now Rob doesn't want to go. I can't take another day 'chilling' I need to get out. So, I'm gonna hike, go shopping and go see a movie on my own. I was just thinking - I wish I belonged to the gym still. Seriously. With football season starting and Rob won't want to do anything on the weekends...I love NFL on Sundays but I'm not a fan of college football which is ALL day Saturday. I used to love going to the gym on Saturday... something to think about.

QOTD - I saw Star Wars with DS. I think that was Dec or Jan??

Accountability - Great

20 mo post op - 161.5

b-coffee x 2, eggs

l-chicken

d-turkey meatloaf and green beans

v/l - on track

e - hike

Have a great day

Advocate for yourself and stay busy! DW like to just chill sometimes for days on end and it makes me crazy. One of the reasons I will take off on a long hike just to get out and kill time some weekends.

I hear you on the crazy! I need a good mix of activity and down time. His availability revolves around sports so much - this morning was the British Open. He likes hiking and going to the beach, but I LOVE it and need it regularly.
