What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! Thank you for the well wishes yesterday, it appears that I have caught some kind of sick bug. I left work early and spent most of my afternoon dry-heaving. My brain wanted me to purge something but apparently I physically can't anymore, which I heard was a thing I just hadn't experienced it up til now. I have coughed up things that were stuck a few times but I can't just...puke. Then I was up all night in the bathroom, and I've been switching between hot and sweaty and cold and clammy. Ugh. I think I'm starting to feel better but I called in to work today because I barely slept and feel exhausted.
Qotd: I always crave "lazy no pants" weekends but when it comes to it, I always want to go places or do projects or clean, or food prep...and end up maybe sitting to unwind for a little bit on Sunday evening. It's probably a good thing. When I sit around, I still want to snack. The types of snacks I eat are better than pre-op, but still only boredom eating that I don't need. So...better to keep busy. Today might be a true lazy day even if I'm feeling better, because I don't have much ambition to do anything but sit in my pajamas and finish watching Anne with an E on Netflix.
Meals: I'm thinking I might stick to fluids today but if my guts feel stable, maybe I'll have some scrambled eggs

Forgot my photo! Sunday was my 5 month mark. I noticed that I didn't have a drastic weight loss from last month to this one, I see a lot of change in my legs. I've been to the gym very regularly and doing squats and leg strength stuff. If my loss is slow because I'm building muscle, I'm less worried about it.
