We did it! We made it to the end of the week! Let's see all of your beautiful faces, today for photo Friday!

Thanks to your suggestions, I am spending this weekend returning the Surface Pro and going ahead with the MacBook Air. Yay! I think it will make a huge difference in my overall life-satisfaction :)

Happy 3 year surgiversary to me! This morning I am 5lbs higher than my lowest post-op weight (and I am fighting HARD not to let it be more!), but I am generally happy with where I am. I know the hardest fight is ahead of me in the next few years, and I am never "cured", but I also feel like this is becoming more of a habit and lifestyle, every day. I said to another poster yesterday that I come here every day to remind myself that I had surgery because otherwise I don't know if I would remember.

Obligatory surgiversary before & after:

This was 10 years ago--the night before my lapband surgery:

This was exactly a year ago at a friend's wedding (2lbs less than this morning):

QOTD: What percentage of your weekends do you typically put towards relaxing vs. getting ready for the week ahead? I always want to do a lot more relaxing than I really do. I think I end up with 70% getting ready vs. 30% relaxing. I need to get better at that...

Happy Friday menu folks! I hope that your weekend ahead is a good one.

It looks like another lovely day on tap here before a week of rain. We certainly can use the rain but it means I won't get out for my walks as much. No hiking this weekend. I do have swimming planned for the weekend though, so that is good.

We are going to see Hotel Transylvania 3 on Saturday and that should be fun. No other firm plans, which will be nice and relaxing.

QOTD: Some weekends seem to get very full. Since I do try to swim and walk/hike on weekends, that usually takes up a few hours. Then I try to get some cleanup from the week done. But there are those weekends that I just need down time and I end up taking a nap in the middle of the day.

Menu:

B1: vanilla Premier Protein shake, coffee

B2: HB egg, chicken breast

Snack/L1: Cappuccino protein shake, chomps, blueberries

L2 (after gym time): Salmon jerky, apple, almonds

Dinner: not sure

Exercise: an hour of gym time with the trainer

lol! I accidentally posted my main post here. Obviously not paying attention this morning. Let us know how Hotel Transylvania is! I'm dying to take my niece to go see that one :-D

Hope you have a fantastic weekend and enjoy your swim!

Happy surgiversary! Love the dress so happy its Friday!

My legs and hips feel tight today, I think the music I was listening to while I was walking was faster than i am use to, lol.

QOTD I wish I did a better job at preparing for the upcoming week, but I don't. I usually try to find at least one fun thing to do.

Yesterday cals 627, protein 71, carbs 27, fat 27. Today B 1st tea with half and half then chunk chicken, then more tea. L tuna pouch with light mayo and sugar free gherkins. D TBD. Snacks cottage cheese.

Pic is me at work. Nothing much.

Have a great day, y'all!

I love your hair -- that's a style I want to try my next short cycle!

Thanks! I cut it short to prepare for the expected hair loss. Once I get out of that cycle, I'll probably let it grow back to chin length. And my chin length has been changing with the weight loss
