What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

i posted the recipe in today's menu thread for you but in case you dont see it-
it's very simple- just 16-20 oz lean ground turkey or chicken, 1C shredded parmesan, 1 egg , salt/pepper, a dash of garlic powder & oregano. press it into a small baking sheet to about 1/4 inch thickness...bake @ 400 about 20 mins or so. It's supposed to be a bit dry because it's supposed to resemble the texture of pizza crust but if you season it well and top it with enough tasty things it's a perfect almost zero carb substitute!

Good Morning! Happy Friday-Eve! JB, sounds like you have a productive day planned. We are HOT here in central CA. Yesterday's high was 108 and I felt it when I took my afternoon walk around the parking lot, the heat and smoke in the air is not a good combination so I might have to start walking the stairs in building or using the fitness room treadmill during my afternoon break.

Accountability: I had a PB & SF orange marmalade sandwich on a low carb pita before dinner.

QOTD: I have an HP at work and I don't remember what the one at home is since it's OLD and I never use it. We have a love/hate relationship most days (meaning it loves to hate me). I am currently waiting for a new battery for it because it does not want to charge whether I am on the docking station or direct cord.

Time since surgery: 3 years 11 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Pork rinds, string cheese and carbmaster yogurt. Iced latte bar when I get home.

D: Buddig turkey, low carb pita, spinach salad (with crumbled Bleu cheese, pecans and skinnygirl raspberry vinaigrette dressing), a small plum, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1232 Protein:114 Carbs:88 Fat:56

Have a great one!

Good morning! I woke up with a very sour stomach and came to work anyway but I feel like I've been in the restroom the majority of my time so far. I'm trying to stick it out--maybe if I exorsize my demons and drink a lot of fluids I'll be fine in a little while. I kind of feel run down and nauseous too, so hoping I'm not coming down with something. I haven't been sick (besides migraines) in over a year!

Qotd: I have an HP laptop and don't feel either way about it. Meh. I just feel like over the last decade or so, laptops are built to be disposable. I was gifted one out of high school as a graduation gift. I don't remember the brand. But it was a beast, and lasted for 7 years before I bought a more updated one. The updated one crashed, but I still had Old Faithful as a backup and it lasted until I got ANOTHER new one, and I finally got rid of it because it was showing end of life signs. And I feel like since then, I only get a good year or two out of a laptop. I promise I'm not rough on them or doing anything really high tech. My current HP is also a big widescreen and cumbersome to take with me to my writing group so I've debated getting something more compact specifically for writing out in the wild. My cousin works for Google and has mentioned being able to get a deal on a chrome book

breakfast: I went with tea today instead of coffee due to tummy issues. I don't like Premier in tea, so I'm drinking them separate today.

lunch: I have some deli sliced chicken, cottage cheese, and a Volpi stick (mozzarella and pepperoni I think) in my lunch bag but I kind of don't want any of it.

dinner: we'll see? Another protein shake if I decide against solids

Good Morning Julia and Menu Family!

QOTD: When my desktop computer died a few months ago I started using Saralisa's old ASUS laptop. She got a new laptop because the ASUS wouldn't stay charged. But it works fine as long as I keep it plugged in.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana

L: ham & cheese on 45 calorie bread, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: chicken stir fry with vegetables, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, frozen yogurt

E: walking Blossom

Have a fantastic day everyone!

Good morning and happy Thursday! Yesterday was a busy day and today is looking to be about the same which makes me happy because they go by fast! Yesterday, I took my nephew out for Thai food (his first time) and while he was gracious he was NOT fan, boo! He grew up in VA and they didn't go out much for other than good ole' American or Mexican food. He did mention he had Greek food once and looked at me scared at the thought of sushi, sigh.... I think we will stick to burgers and tacos!

QOTD - I have an HP 17 in w/full 10 key - basic nothing fancy. I've tried every type of tablet and some smaller laptops and this is my favorite. Rob has a Macbook he loves and it's pretty damn awesome. For what I do, mine is perfect and if it died right now, I'd get the same thing.

Accountability - I had been doing CAMAW for a long while and really missed my veggies. I enjoyed my salad SO FREAKIN' MUCH last night. I also tried skinnygirl dressing (thanks Kelly!) and I gotta say I am purist and usually make my own, but they were really good. They were out of raspberry vinaigrette so I had the balsamic last night. I also got the honey mustard which I tasted and it was good too. 2 tbsp - 10 calories, no sugar alcohols - win!

19 mo post op - 162.8 - still high but going in the right direction

b- coffee x1, HB eggs

l- work luncheon - insides of a deli sandwich

d-chicken, sliced almonds and spring mix w/skinnygirl honey mustard dressing

s - popsicles

e- walk

Have a great day!
