What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

For me, with Microsoft for Mac, that's been fine - no loss of functionality - sometimes the drop downs are different. Biggest issue with excel for me has been making sure to have the right default extension so everyone else can open it. Worst case I occasionally have to manually select .xlsx.
It's good to have your own private genius, lol!

I had the insides of fish tacos when DH and I went out to eat on Tuesday after our Alzheimer's support group meetings and they were great. I need to make up some fish taco insides for home eating! I think DH would like them too (with the taco shells).
We have appointments today, then company arriving tomorrow and staying until Tuesday or Wednesday. It's going to be busy and a lot of eating elsewhere is bound to happen so I need to stay on plan today.
QOTD: I LOVE my MacBook Air! When I bought it I had an iPhone and an iPad (which I had to get after trying out DS's and falling in love with it). I actually use the IPad most btw (I'm on it now). When I got this one (my second) I got lots of memory and I did the same with my newer iPhone. But, back to my laptop. We used PCs at work and I'd always had one at home, but I decided to go completely Apple after I tried out a friend's MacBook. I love the weight of it, the integration with my other devices and just how generally easy it is to use. I do have MS Office on all 3 devices. It is a little different (especially Excel), but I got used to that.

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: Leftover pork kabobs with peppers
S: yogurt

Good morning!! Happy Thursday!! I am in nyc today with a group - we are seeing the Harry Potter and the Curswd Child play tonight and tomorrow (it's two parts) and I am so so so excited!!
accountability - um, I turned down the cookie on the plane, the breadbasket at the restaurant and dessert and all the alcohol but I did have a couple of bites of everything else. It was primarily protein forward except for a carrot soup but even with portion control, calories must have been Awful. My friends that I am traveling with are foodies and I will just be balancing the hard NOs (dessert, those little baby croissant in the bread basket) with "best choices I can make" (protein, protein, protein and a divine cheese course instead of dessert). This drives home for me that as much as I sometimes think I should have done this surgery younger and gotten healthier sooner, I'm not sure I would have had the mental strength to be comfortable with saying "nope, no wine course for me, etc".
Qotd - I use a 13 inch MacBook Air for work, a Mac desk top for home, and for travel I use my phone or iPad mini. I am firmly in the Mac eco system although the loss of the headphone jack on the phone has made me consider breaking up with Mac.
menu
coffee and half and half, later eggs
lunch - tbd
evening snack - jerky
dinner - we have dinner at an Asian restaurant after the play tonight - I've looked st the menu and identified a few options and at least there won't be a ton of bread!
exercise - lots of walking! I know we're going to do at least a portion of the HiLine and more, I'm sure.
have a terrific day.

When I last upgraded my phone, I got a Google Pixel and never noticed that it didn't have a headphone jack. When I figured it out, I almost took it back to the store to put it where the sun don't shine of the associate. That seems like such a big thing and they never mentioned the change. I really hate it!

It's a pain to have to choose between charging and listening to music when I travel. I tried to switch to wireless earbuds but couldn't get them to connect with my phone (but they synced to the ipad fine).
