What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning everyone~ Feeling back to normal after taking a mental health day yesterday. I'm still sore from the hikes this weekend. One of them was brutal in spots and my legs and glutes are still feeling the burn. I love that it's Tuesday already - should be a busy week and go by fast. Taking my nephew to lunch today - hes never had Thai food before! It's been a long time for me and I can't wait!
QOTD - I have very long wavy hair with lots of blonde highlights. I go through phases of straightening or curling. Right now it's a bit dry/damaged from over styling, so I've been giving it a rest and going natural/wavy.
Accountability - great
19mo + post op - 163.1 - ugh, inflammation??
b-coffee x1, HB eggs
l- chicken nam sod
d- seared tuna
v/l - on track
e-walk pups tonight
Have a great day!

Your hair is beautiful.
I have a cousin who is one of 3 boys and my BFF can never remember who is who... I always refer to this one as: "Mike-who-never-had-sushi", because she was with us the first time I took him. He was wide eyed and adorable about trying something new... I hope your nephew loved the Thai! YUM!

Julia, love your funnies. Yes, when a Hershey bar jumps in my cart at the store, it is scary but I deal with it. Over the last 10 years, I've maybe eaten 3 candy bars. Before WLS, on Saturday after weigh in at WWs, I did errands and when I filled up the car with gas, I would treat myself to a diet Coke and a Hershey bar. Or.....stop at Sonic for a burger and shake. No wonder I was fat. After weigh in, I considered myself free to eat whatever the rest of the day.
QOTD: My hair is short. It has a lot of natural curl so if it starts to grow out, it curls where I don't want it to. I colored my hair until last November when I decided to go natural. I just knew I wouldn't like it. My stylist added some highlights and kept me turned away from the mirror. I kept thinking I'm going to hate. I'm spending all this money and I'll wind up getting a bottle of color, but I didn't. Loved it. I wash, add a little mousse and comb into place.
Question re pork rinds. I've always been turned off on them because I thought they are fried pig fat. Is that true or what are they actually?
My son loves cheesecake and his theory is if you're eating cheesecake, eat it as it should be and don't try to healthify it. I have always used sweetener and my son never knew. He wanted to take some cheesecake to work to a co-worker so I made one with sugar. I was surprised at how much thicker it was. I knew I couldn't eat it because it has a bazillion calories and sugar is not my friend. However, I couldn't resist a taste. I ate maybe a teaspoon and it was delicious. Went to bed and started feeling sick as in sugar sick and then got the foamies. The cheesecake came up. I went back to bed, went to sleep, no more problems.
Today's menu:
Greek yogurt "cheesecake"
Click shake
Chicken; Quinoa
Melon
BLT....maybe

Pork rinds are fried pig skin - puffy and crispy. Pork cracklin's are fried pork skin w/fat attached which are harder and crunchier. They have protein and no carbs and can sub for just about any chip or cracker - great with dips but are good on their own. You may be surprised.
