What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning :)

My appointments went well yesterday. No more with them until after the little nugget gets here. Today I have yet another ultrasound but other than that nothing is planned. I ended up finally going for my haircut with scalp massage yesterday -- all I really wanted was the scalp massage part lol. If I win the lottery can I hire someone to just give scalp massages??

QOTD: I don't do a lot with my hair... I just got it trimmed with a few layers yesterday. Then I usually let it grow out for a while. I don't really know how to style or manage hair so it's usually just up in a ponytail or bun.

Post-op three years and four months.

Breakfast - protein popsicles

Snack - almonds and dates

Lunch - tbd... Maybe bacon sandwich

Snack - egg and pickles

Dinner - sausages on the bbq (rained out last night)

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Hi all! Happy Tuesday!

The last few days have been so incredibly lovely, clear as a bell, golden warm sunshine, and blue blue skies. I'm so grateful to be living in such a beautiful world! I'm going to take the dogs to the beach again today, for a good long walk.

QOTD: These days, I wear my hair a few inches below my shoulders, parted deeply on one side or the other. I have some blonde highlights in my red hair and wear it falling over one eye a la Jessica Rabbit, or parted that way and pin straight, or a bit curved under at the ends. I've never had a kerritin treatment, but Living Proof's No Frizz line has been a game changer for me, giving me for the first time in my life really good hair every single day.

First: two huge mugs of tea, the first of many yet to come!

B: a little filet mignon

L: I think I'm going to go buy some more wild-caught salmon - sooo good!

D: why stop now? More salmon.

Have a wonderful day, my friends!

Good Morning! JB, I am glad that your day was better than you expected. We are settling into the new house pretty nicely and now just planning hubby's birthday plans for the weekend. His birthday is Friday and so far I know he wants Spaghetti Factory Friday night and we are having my sister and BIL do a break-out room with us on Saturday (first time doing this).

Accountability: I added some snacking in the evening.

QOTD: Probably best described as a pixie cut. Just had a trim on Saturday and we decided to shorten in a little bit more for the summa-time.

Time since surgery: 3 years 11 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Quest nacho chips and carbmaster yogurt. Iced latte bar when I get home.

D: Tri-tip salad with Bleu cheese crumbles, peach/plum and banana slices, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1216 Protein:120 Carbs:96 Fat:47

Have a great one!

They are pretty good. I really like the ranch ones, very similar to cool ranch Doritos. Put it this way, Em tried to steal a bag of my Quest chips!

Ha! I used to work at the Spaghetti Factory when I was in college. I won't think there are any more in this state--I haven't thought of them in years!

hi all- late posting for me. I got a new macro check from my FB guru people so feeling better about it. basically I was eating at a little surplus which over time was causing a little gain. But losing fat also due to the lifting... so backing back down on the calories so I can be a happy scale girl. If there was one thing I wish the surgery center was better at long term this is it. They set us out and give us a general idea of our calories, but seems between year 2-3, we have some pitfalls where we don't really scientifically know how much to eat and what ratio fats/carb/prot, etc. so confusing and they need to get better at it.

QOTD: my hair is long- to the middle of my back almost with side swept bangs. they had gotten long and I took some scissors to them- yes, i am NOT a professional stylist, they don't look that awesome. My hair is naturally a bit wavy so generally I dry my bangs and my hair a little then let it air dry. most of the time i have a ponytail as I'm either working or going to the gym. if i'm going 'out' otherwise i wear real clothes and my hair is down.

Food for today:

coffee/mct/eas strawberry shake

water

last of the leftover shepherds pie

last of the grilled chicken and curry sauce

protein pancakes

not sure on dinner/going to gym so I think we will do sandwiches or fish or something.

A quick stop in cause I woke up a little late and have to get ready for pilates to start an extremely busy day.

Qotd: ponytails and hats currently. I have always done a ponytail but with the hair falling out hats have been added to the mix. Whatever it takes to keep my hair out of my face.

Accountability: yesterday was really good! I changed it one snack for an Ostrim snack stick thing.

Bf: 2 protein pancakes, 1T syrup, 3" banana

MS: Ostrim snack stick

L: 3 meatballs, 3 triscuits

AS: babybel

D: leftover baked fried chicken thighs

1hour pilates, 1 hour personal training, 1 hour treadmill, 800 calories, 80g protein, 120oz water, all vitamins

d- tuna poke or leftover low carb zuppa toscana (I was skeptical yesterday when I tried the recipe, but omg! Delicious! It could be a new favorite)
