Good Monday Morning!

JB - it's always hard to assemble a top notch team but if anybody can do it, it's you. You go girl!

I'm exhausted from our weekend with the new pup. I had forgotten how hard the potty training is and all the times you need to pick her up and run to the backyard. So finally yesterday I pulled out my old books I used with Gemma and started the process. As usual I'm the mean mom who disciplines and implements the rules and DH is the fun dad who tries to get the pup out of the crate and play with her even if it's not time and she will pee all over the house.

QOTD:I am the OPPOSITE of a hoarder. I guess because I grew up with disorganized parents I need to have everything in place, don't like nick-nacks, and will get rid of things when DH keeps bringing rocks and shells from the beach. For crying out loud, we live by the beach, how many shells do you think we need to have INSIDE the house? I have created jars and elegant vases to put the shells but he keeps bringing in more and putting them on every surface. So the second his back is turned I get rid of them.

Accoubtability: great, the pup is taking all the time and don't have time to eat.

B: frittata

L: chicken fajita

S: pork rinds

D: making veggie lasagna for the family and DD's guests but I'll stick to pulled pork.

Have a great day!

Thanks Janet. Yes, 8 lbs to go and even if it takes me another whole year to lose these 8 lbs I'm good. I love my new active life.

JB, I don't envy you the employee problems you inherited. I highly recommend retirement.

QOTD: I do spend too much on groceries. I think I need to take advantage of every bargain item as if it will never be on sale again. We do eat all that I buy. Fabric is my hoarder thing although I like to think I'm helping the economy. Just can't pass up the remnant bin, especially at Hobby Lobby. The price is great and I the variety of the fabrics give me so many choices and helps me be creative. Besides, I'm helping the stores stay in business.

I received a request to submit my WLS story to OH. I'm thinking I will do it.

Menu today:

Coffee w/1 scoop vanilla Click

Click shake

Salad w/deli turkey, cheese; Greek yogurt "cheesecake" (SF cheesecake pudding mix added to Greek yogurt.....yum

Lemon chicken; Quinoa

Snacks: Berries; Cherries; Melon

I've a kindred spirit in you as far as quilting fabric. I like just looking at it in shelves I have in my craft room. I've arranged them in rainbow style so if I use any of it, I'll have to buy some more of the same color!

What kind of quilt projects do you enjoy making? I make a lot of kid's quilts.

I've made baby quilts for the women's shelter, baby quilts for each of my sister's 3 kids, and I've got tops for three other niece that I need to get busy and finish. I sort of put quilting on hold because my commute takes up 2 hrs of my day. I'm planning on retiring 1Q 2020. I hope the fabric holds up, lol. As far as the type, I'm more drawn to modern designs and colors. I certainly appreciate antique quilts but I'm not really not a fan of anything too rustic.

How abt you?

I don't like Greek yogurt in shakes either. I mix 2 cups Greek yogurt with one box of SF cheesecake flavored pudding mix. When I'm ready to eat it, I add a little Cool Whip. Sometimes the mixture is a little dry. I made Eggface's granola and put some on that on top.
