What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
Morning all!! Sitting in the hotel and relaxing before we head home. What a great show last night. He was funny without having to use vulgar language. Now don?t get me wrong I dint Kevin Hart funny as all get out but all he was more PG-13 in my opinion. Tonight we are going out to dinner and to see the Incredibles 2 with our daughter.
QOTD: I got nothing I am so boring I really need to work less relax more.
Food:
B: bacon and coffee from the buffet at hotel
L & D: no clue...
Have a good day friends..
DW and I saw Incredibles 2 and loved it! Now we want to see Hotel Transylvania 3.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! I'm up early and enjoying my coffee+premiere with last nights Great British Bake-off so a nice relaxing start for me!
QOTD - I am a sucker for any crazy action/karate/fight movie. My dad and I watched them all, and I do mean all, when I was growing up. Now I save them for my treadmill - I currently have a whole season of Into The Badlands for my excercise viewing!
accountability - my flight last night was late and when I got home, I was starving so I had an extra string cheese.
B - coffee + premiere x 2
L - skyr
d - 3 oz mozzarella + 6 slices pepperoni
606 calories, 65 protein 23 carbs
excercise - intro to aerial aerobics (hoping I don't die!)

Mornin' Weekenders!
feeling really waterlogged this morning. I checked and I had 4633 mg of sodium yesterday (mostly due to cottage cheese (lunch) and Korean food (dinner) - no wonder. Ugh). I was going to swing by the clinic and have my labs done this morning rather than wait 'til Monday at my appt, but maybe not... (although not sure how much that would affect other than my sodium level, which they've never addressed)
a friend of mine got in from Turkey last night. She'll be here for two weeks - mostly for business, but she'll have some free time, too. I'm really looking forward to spending time with her, but a little bummed it's just for two weeks this time - last summer she was here for two *months*! We'll get together sometime today, but not sure when - she was pretty wiped when she got in last night.
QOTD: lately, I've started doing jigsaw puzzles. I hadn't done them since I was in high school, but then we did one when Mom and I visited my aunt and uncle last November. It was a cold, dreary afternoon, so we all sat around the dining room table one afternoon working on one. I worked on a couple after that, and then about a month ago, I started doing them *a lot*. I just bought a bunch more at Goodwill super cheap. They're good for my stress, and they keep me from eating, so...
3 years out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with raspberries, a squirt of honey, and hickory nuts (yikes - I'll have to watch it the rest of the day!)
MS: coffee w/ half & half, Miralax protein shake
L: if home, probably leftover bimimbap. If out, ??? (my friend is a chronic dieter, so she's usually a safe eating companion!!)
D: maybe corn on the cob and some kind of protein if I'm home. If out, ??
ex: Aqua Zumba (headed there right now!)
Good morning. I'm tired after a tough day yesterday ending with insomnia, so I may go to the beach and sleep.
QOTD: Maybe "pretend" shopping? I turn down pages in paper catalogs and put items in online baskets constantly to save them. Which would be okay if I didn't buy them. Though I don't buy many, once they are saved I am much more likely to be tempted to go through with the sale.
2 Years, 3 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 19 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: shrimp
S: nut thins and hummus

Good morning~ We are not going to see Rob's dad until next weekend now... So instead, we are going on a guided 4 mile hike along the coast to Port San Luis Lighthouse in Avila. I've been wanting to do this for years so I'm pretty excited! Afterwards will be a little shopping, an episode of Handmaids or Poldark, BBQ, chess and a movie.
QOTD - guilty pleasure is probably watching Empire - don't remember how it started or understand why I like it so much as it's totally not my kind of show, but I get a kick out of it - especially sassy Cookie.
Accountability - great, so why am I gaining?
19mo+ post op - 161.1 - ?
b-coffee x2, scrambled eggs
l-chicken breast
d-seared ahi tuna w/soy and wasabi
s -SF popsicles
v/l - on track

I started gaining about 2.5 years out, even though my calorie level stayed the same. It's probably that 10-20 lb bounce back. At one time I got down to 138, but I only stayed there for like five minutes. I was maintaining pretty well at around 142 until the 2.5 year mark, now I'm stable in the 148-151 range. I go into panic mode when it goes over 150 and really buckle down. I was upset with the gain for awhile, but I've come to terms with it and I'm comfortable there. I'm sure I could get back down to 142 if I cut back on calories, but I'm not sure I want to. I eat in the 1500-1700 (calorie) range, and that feels really comfortable to me. So... As long as I stay here (and I know I need to watch it like a hawk to stay where I am), I'm OK with it.
anyway, long story short, if you want to be lower, I'm sure you can make it happen - you just need to drop your calories a bit.
