Good morning! JB your selfie pic made me laugh out loud. Grim looks like he's about to just sigh, maybe shake his head. LOL

Awesome gym and commute today. My protein bar and coffee are extra good this morning. My menu for the rest of the day: MS/AS: 1/2 cup ff greek yogurt with 1/2 cup blueberries. Lunch: Protein pasta (not my favourite, I'm no longer a pasta guy) but with sauce and chunks of chicken for a protein boost I can get it down and it stays there, mostly. Supper: Not sure, but plan-forward. ES: I plan on taking my sweetheart out for a coffee tonight, so I might have a morsel of something, but I doubt it. I'll likely bring a protein bar to chew on instead. That's been my go-to lately in situations like that. Take the kids for ice cream? Stay the hell out of it and chew on a slab of chicken. Going to the donut store? Bring some cheese. Going for a walk? Well that my friend calls for some mutton.

QOTD: My NSV with this WLS is my energy and stamina. Health benefits aside, I can get up and just slay it all day. Sure, some days I'm ready for a nap but if I have a job to do, I just go like mad and still run circles around the kids at the beach later. I'm seeing some definition in my body as a result of the gym, and veins where there were no (visible) veins before. The shirt in the pics is a size L, and it's starting to be a bit baggy. My shoes keep wearing out. Stuff like that. These things are my daily reminder that I've made the best choice for me. Recently someone in my circle that knows of the WLS, asked me if it's been worth it. There's no longer an "X" in my clothing sizes, and the first number on my jeans waist size is not a 5 or a 4 anymore. It's a 3. That makes my heart so happy!
