What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?
TGIF for real!
This week has been so long --I hope today goes by relatively quickly and SMOOTHLY so I don't feel all yucky and stressed out when I get home tonight to celebrate DH's birthday.
I made low carb mini-cheesecakes last night for us to eat for dessert tonight...super easy recipe and the batter tasted good LOL...so hopefully the finished product will be a success!
QOTD: I noticed yesterday that I was much less reluctant to go up and down my own stairs at home. We have a 3 level Cape Cod, so it's a lot of stairs from the top level to the basement!...6 months ago I'd make excuses to myself not to go down to the basement if I needed something, or if I forgot something down there I'd just say Oh well...not going back down, just to avoid the stairs!
I dont think I even realized how lazy I was being, I just didnt want to do it...
Last night I kept forgetting what I went down there for in the first place and I ended up going up and down like 8 times in a matter of an hour...the last time I started thinking "I dont really need it" but then I was like why am I avoiding the stairs now? it doesn't even phase me anymore! so I just went down and got what I was looking for.
Morning: coffee w/half caramel PP
B: greek L&F yogurt
L: last of the leftover turkey "stroganoff" and broccoli
S: may skip afternoon snack because I'm having cheesecake bites tonight but If I need it I brought turkey meat sticks
D: crab stuffed flounder & brussels sprouts
ES: low carb cheesecake bite!
per MFP I'll be a bit over on my calories today if I do eat the meat sticks but just slightly...I think it's OK since we are going to be walking all day tomorrow at the Renaissance Fair!
pics are my 5 month progress photo and another selfie I took the other day when I was feeling sassy :)

WE HAVE A NEW BABY!!!!
She arrived last night from Indiana from an Amish family. She is a Sheltie (just like our previous one) and she is bi-Black. We named her Luna (means noon in Italian). I was a little hesitant getting another pup so soon after Gemma but the kids were insistent. DD especially wanted to bind with her before she went back to college at the end of summer. Our local breeders didn't have any puppy or the color we were interested in, so we went out of state.
QOTD: during our river rafting trip the guide said ?with an ATLETIC family like yourself...? I looked around to see who he was talking about. He was talking about us, ME included. I was so happy I no longer kept my family back with activities.
B: Protein coffee
L: chicken skewers
S: jerky
D: TBD
Happy Friday!
