What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

Is everyone else as excited for the weekend as I am? This week was tough. I have worked 15 - 16 hour days all week and also tried to maintain a social life. Kind of rough... I still have a lot of work to do this weekend to get organized and ready this weekend but I anticipate doing a lot of resting, too.
QOTD: Let's hear an NSV round up. What new and wonderful things have you noticed your weight loss helping with? I have been feeling grateful that I have the energy and stamina to keep up with the physical demands of this job. The other newbies who I was in training with this week are all in their 20s and super young, fresh, and fit. Maybe, I haven't felt quite as energetic as they are (I am 20 years older!), but I do feel like I can keep up. When I was overweight I always felt sluggish and tired, but now working hard makes me feel completely energized instead of overwhelmed.
My pics are of a fun week despite so much work work work!
Grim and I at Fenway park last night!
Sunset over the last night of the local fair.
A terrible attempt at a selfie at the drive in:
Happy Friday everyone!
JB, glad you've made it to Friday and that you are keeping up! How was the game last night?
First, a BIG THANKS to everyone for there ideas and encouragement yesterday. I am trying to accept that I didn't get the job I wanted so much and not burn any bridges. I am glad I got to telework yesterday so I didn't have to put on a happy face right away!
Today is my first workout with my new trainer. I am going to his gym to work out with him one-on-one and will at some point switch to doing cyber sessions since they are cheaper and more convenient. I'm not planning on adding in swim time today because I suspect that he will kick my *$$ in that hour. I am particularly happy because he works with alot of bariatric patients, pre and post-op, so I feel more comfortable with him. My goals are to strengthen my upper body and to slowly strengthen my core. Sure I'd love to have pumped guns and a six-pack, but honestly, I just want to feel stronger.
QOTD: I am so happy that I can be active now and that my body is strong enough to allow me to walk, do stairs and clean the house without becoming exhausted.
Accountability: I stuck to CAMAW yesterday with the exception of a TJ's latte popsicle...mostly coffee and milk and only 7g of carbs and 40 calories. Not bad overall.
Pictures: the first one is particularly for Kelly. They are my new Saucony Guide ISO running shoes. They are so pretty and comfortable!
The next three are of my flowers in the front yard: butterfly bush...
Coneflowers...
Choleas...
The bees and butterflies are very happy that they are there!
Menu:
B1: vanilla Premier Protein shake, coffee
B2: hard boiled egg, salmon packet
Snack: Cappuccino protein shake, chomps
Lunch: TJ's Balsamic chicken breast
Snack: chomps, string cheese, maybe an apple
Dinner: hoping for a crab cake!
Exercise: an hour at the gym with the trainer

Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed my time with my new trainer. It wasn't as hard as I thought it might be but he was feeling out what I could handle so next time might be more challenging. I have another session on Monday.

I thought you wore Saucony's. What type do you wear? Do you wear the same ones in the gym as you do to run? Just curious...
