What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
LOL maybe if I had thought about it ahead of time...it's a little late to order anything at this point, plus I don't even know the address of his office building...is that terrible?
I mean I know how to get there but I don't send things there! LOL
I don't know if he'd enjoy a singing telegram or belly dancer at work--he is definitely more of an extrovert than I am but he works at JP Morgan so it might be frowned on hahaha.
I'll make sure to find a nice card and make a delicious dessert--then we are going to the renaissance fair on Saturday (it's his birthday tradition- we've been doing it for about 7 years now for his birthday weekend!).

You are so right about the roll counts. Too much thinking for me.
QOTD finish our back yard plans and spend every last penny on travel. Then when I'm broke again, I can sit on my back deck and enjoy the new gardens out there.
Ok so yesterday was a strange day. We have fellowship meal every month at church, so far since surgery, I've skipped it. However our quarterly business mtg was this time and because I have to give a report, I had to go to the meeting. I did not eat the meal, planned ahead and ate b4 I got there. DH saved me a seat, I was late due to having to work late, but wa eating like there was no tomorrow from the dessert table. Ok, so far so good. I get home have a snack of dried sausage and strawberries. Still kinda ok. But then I notice on the end table DH left his pringles canister. Why, oh ,why did I have to finish the canister, 300 calories of total crap. This hurts my heart having to type this. Ugh!!!
Yesterday cals 1189, protein 81, carbs 59, fat 68. Today B 1st tea with half and half then lettuce roll up with deli Turkey and then more tea. L and snacks the same, no imagination today. D TBD.
Have a great Friday eve!

Accountability: Yesterday instead of having yogurt with fresh fruit for dinner, I had smashed new potatoes, fried in butter with rosemary and a little salt, then topped with Greek Yogurt. I had five of them. Clearly a bad choice for carbs but oh so delicious! It took my carbs way high but otherwise wasn't a disaster on my stats.
QOTD: I would get my PhD in agriculture focusing in permaculture and sustainable farming for less developed areas. I would travel and work with NGOs to help increase healthy food production in areas where there are systemic nutritional issues. If this sounds all goodie-two-shoes it's not really. I love LOVE farming, travel, and teaching so it would just be fun for me!

I work out a lot, I always have. I genuinely like exercising and I am rather used to the soreness that comes after. However, yesterday I swam laps for 30 minutes and my arms hurt so badly today! What have I done?!
Qotd: If I had a million dollars I would buy myself a Bugatti Veyron. The original car that broke the 250 mph mark. It is still a beautiful car and it was such a technological masterpiece that even though there are Koenigsegg's and Pagani's and of course the Bugatti Chiron that are faster I still think it was the most impressive.
Accountability: yesterday was strange, I actually came in closer to 980 calories, the highest I have been I think since surgery, but it was still all protein forward and very low carb. 2 days of heavy exercise just meant I need a little more food I think, well food and water cause I also got about 160oz H2O.
