What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Happy Thursday!!!
Toilet paper math is hard but I work with a lot of people young in their careers and I think we should also add some word problems on "if I have to be at work at 8, what time do I need to get up at"; we have to walk people through this a few times a year (and to be fair, sometimes it's with our more seasoned team members too!)
qotd - I would buy a house for each of my parents, with appropriate care for them, and then I would travel the world - taking friends and family along with me whenever they wanted!
accountability - yesterday, I had to bust out some mental tools to stick to plan because I was bored in the hotel room. I pulled it off though, yay me. The final trick was to get into my pjs at 630 as soon as my last call ended because I knew I wouldn't leave the hotel room after that!
menu -
b - coffee+ premiere
l - yogurt
s - 1 oz mozzarella cheese
d - tbd
i have one more snack pack of cheese and some beef jerky left, that might be dinner or maybe a Cobb salad from the hotel cafe

I am always amazed when people believe they can just walk in and out whenever they want. I've had jobs where going to the bathroom too many times was a fireable offense, much less coming in late.

I agree with Bethmel that buying an RV might be a way that DW and I could travel even with her limited mobility. Unfortunately it wouldn't help us to get Down Under!

Good morning! I went out to eat unexpectedly last night with my in-laws. We went to a Mexican place and I ordered a salad that had chicken breast and shrimp. The shrimp were delicious, but the chicken was SO DRY it was like trying to chew cardboard. I got a couple bites in and it didn't get stuck, but it was not enjoyable at all. The waiter came to ask if I wanted a box because to all appearances it looked like I'd barely touched it. I declined, and explained about the chicken, and he offered to bring me a new meal, but I had eaten plenty from the shrimp and bit of salad I'd eaten. He took my name and let me know my next meal would be free. Everything else I've tried there has been delicious so I'll probably use it!
qotd: I feel like a million dollars could actually go pretty quick. I would pay off my student loans for those horribly unnecessary degrees I acquired :P I would buy an acerage and build a house for DH and I to raise a family in, and it would have a nerd game room, a library, a big kitchen for entertaining, and a big backyard for my garden. I'd buy a small house for my mom and help her furni**** however she wants (a small house is all she'd want for herself and I don't think my mom has ever had brand new furniture in her life). Maybe I'd throw a bone at my dad too but it would be begrudgingly. And I think whatever might be left if anything I'd put in a retirement fund.
Breakfast: coffee and premier
lunch: chicken salad on spinach
snack: string cheese
dinner: thigh from a rotisserie chicken I picked up last night at the store, maybe some broccoli.

yes toilet paper and paper towel math is hard. so i think the key is looking at the total amount at the bottom of the package and comparing. Then sometimes on the store label on the shelf there is a cost per blah blah. then you know which is the cheapest.
so yesterday was a whirl of a day. The urologist said my bladder was not emptying when I urinated and that is why i had to go all the time. put me on a med they give to men for enlarged prostate but way smaller dose. I took the first one yesterday before working a bit then going to gym. it was a mistake, said it could make you really tired which I was, at the gym no less. I almost just laid down on the mat and slept.
weight back up to an all time high- not panicking -bowel and urine is off right now- accountability ok- I did force myself to eat 3 prunes at whole foods from the bulk section - oh and 2 milk chocolate peanut butter balls- they weren't what I was expecting. oh by the way- if you are amazon prime and hav ea whole foods, they are giving a $10 credit for amazon prime day if you purchase $10 at amazon- i got a credit yesterday to use. I also got their fancy decaf coffee BOGO.
QOTD: I would say pay off any and all debt, travel, build a huge huge closet to house ALLL my goodies so I can look at them anytime (it's kind of a mess right now). Buy or build a few tiny home communities around the USA. Hire a personal chef and trainer. OH and a house cleaner.
Food for today:
coffee/eas myoplex I bought (its strawberry flavor so kind of interesting in coffee, but what the heck)
prot pancakes (need extra extra fiber)
leftover chicken/green beans/broc
tonight is the last of the study crunch, will cut myself off at 7:30- not look at it again until exam at 9
no gym but plank challenge
Yes, having the money to have someone clean my house and cook sometimes would be a great relief! Also the money for some personal services like a trainer and massage therapist more often would be nice.

Good morning menu friends! Last day of work here at Chaddock. Tomorrow we're moving to a state park for one night and then off to Chatham to the Midwest Distributiin center where they pack up the clean up buckets that end up at flood areas, redo bikes for childrens homes, and fix treadle sewing machines to distribute in 3rd world countries so the women can have a source of income. Lily and I walked 3.20 miles so far today and will do 2 more. Accountability with 11,255 steps and no extra food. QOTD easy pay off debt like RV and cards and have some plastic surgery-probably just tummy and arms. Heres my food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L protein from cafeteria with a few bites lettuce D not sure as work team is going out S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a day full of smart choices everyone!
Good Morning Julia and Menu Family!
The toilet paper picture is funny!!!
Well, yesterday we went to the animal shelter and met our 3rd rescue dog! She is a 1-2 year old chihuahua-dachshund mix. They have been calling her Otter because she stands up on her hind legs and just lets her front legs dangle. We might change her name, maybe to Sophie, not sure yet. She was found abandoned in the country. A lady caught her in her live trap. After Saralisa and I met her we went home and got Tippy and Blossom and brought them in to meet her and they all got along really well. Otter is very timid, but she will get over that. She looks a lot like my Dolly, who died the day I got home from WLS at age 15. Here's one picture of her. Two more pictures coming tomorrow for Photo Friday.
QOTD: At first I couldn't think of anything I need, but reading your answers gave me some ideas. I'd probably get PS, remodel my house and make it bigger so I could adopt even more pets, hire a housekeeper and a cook, put money aside for retirement and make sure Saralisa was well taken care of.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 94, Calories - 1,376, Carbs - 112.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: taco salad
D: crustless chicken pot pie, light & fit Greek yogurt
