What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
What a great idea for a business! I was a single Mom for a few years and I REALLY could have used that.

Hi all,
My first post in "what are you eating/doing today." :)
QOTD: So many great ideas. I have also always wanted to do something for Alzheimer's patients. My mom has this awful disease and is in a nursing home. I have seen ideas where they make community's where their room resembles a little house and there are gardens and stores (that you don't need money). I would love to improve the standard of living for elderly people in general. Although I know the healthcare staff work the tails off to do the best they can and I have nothing but respect for them. I think so much more could be done.
Part two-Hospice donation would also be on my list. There is finally one being built in my city and I think that everyone should be able to pass on in a safe, comfortable atmosphere where they are catered to and their family can have respect and privacy.
Food:
Breakfast:
Decaf coffee, caramel premier protein
Lunch:
Turkey Sausage
cherry tomatoes
Dinner:
Shrimp
Cauliflower
Bedtime snack:
Probably greek yogurt or protein jello
Have a great day!

Welcome to the daily thread. Its a great place with wonderful people.
welcome! My father had Alzheimer's, too - it's a horrible disease. I hope I never get it, but after having three grandparents and a parent who had it, I may be marked.. I also would do something with nursing homes. I recently retired and am seriously considering volunteering in one. I felt really awful for the patients in my dad's nursing home who never had anyone visit them. :-(
