What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Most of our kids were on petfinder. It really is a great way for small organizations to advertise to a wider audience.

Hi all! Happy Wednesday!
Yesterday afternoon I had some steamed shrimp. I had 5 or 6 of these, until I realized that I absolutely could not have another bite! That shrimp did me in. For the rest of the day - literally - I was in pain, gradually fading by midnight or so to mere discomfort. Ouch! I couldn't even drink anything - I tried a few sips and it just made things worse. I actually can still feel my poor stomach's soreness and exhaustion as I type this. That's the worst OMG-I-ate-too-much (or too fast, or the wrong thing) experience I've had in a long time. So today will be a very light day, food-wise: protein shakes, yogurt, etc. The only plus might be that I might be down the scale slightly, as my calories were negligible yesterday. I'm typing from bed and am not yet ready to rise and weigh myself!
QOTD: I like Smile Train, and local wildlife and habitat protection and conservation charities. Local food banks. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
First: I'll try having some tea.
B: Cinnamon Buns shake.
L: Greek yogurt with a little vanilla protein powder for flavor
D: I'll have to see how my body feels and if I'm up to dense protein or need to stick with more yogurt.
Have a wonderful day!
Oh no Cara! Take care today and rest the poor pouch.

Good morning!
Day 2 of the heavy weights at the gym. I did more today than yesterday and I'm already feeling it. I added planks and an inclined situp, did legs and then arms/back/chest. The bike ride from the gym to work was.....interesting. I couldn't feel my rubber arms, LOL.
Last night I piled the kids in the car and drove to the beach for a swim. It was so windy but they love it when we go. The waves were pretty big so they had a blast. I even got my wetsuit on and jumped around for a while, but I find I get cold so fast, and I don't like the waves as much as calm waters. I'd rather swim than get slammed into repeatedly. They had so much fun though!
Menu is on-plan today.
QOTD: I would probably donate it to a kids' help line for suicide prevention. These sorts of programs are a necessity. So many young lives are being thrown away and it rips me apart when I see it happening.
Good morning :)
Not too much planned for today. Might have someone coming by to help tidy up our lawn if they ever message me back and then a doctor's appointment. I was given some craft stuff for the baby's room so I might try gluing/assembling those. It will make a carousel type thing that I can hang from the ceiling.
QOTD: So my heart says to donate the money to some kind of dog rescue organization -- especially one that rescues and rehabilitates dogs that would otherwise be euthanized (e.g. Vet Ranch / Abandoned Pet Project but something more local). However my head says to donate to some kind of cancer research because of the impact it has had on my family.
