I tend to like England best, but Croatia are such a strong TEAM and work together in an amazing fashion. I would be really happy to see them win it all.

Rob is quite impressed by Croatia as well and is looking forward to seeing who makes it to play France. Enjoy your mental health day and the game!

I've been to Croatia but not to England, and am Slavic myself, so I say go team Croatia! But whoever wins I'll be happy for!

Croatia ended up winning but both teams played well. Now the are up against France and I definitely don't like France!

I love both Croatia and France! My dad went through medical school in the former, and his artist parents lived in Paris during the 19-teens, 1920s and 30s. So both countries are cool in my eyes!

Enjoy your mental health day! I think we all need to do this more often.

Speaking on animal rescues, where did you get Blossom and Tippy from? They are such good dogs!

Awww, thanks, Janet! A friend told me about Tippy. Tippy's owner died and the owner's husband worked as a long-distance trucker and couldn't keep Tippy so she needed a new home. Tippy was 5 years old when we got her and she is 10 now. Blossom we adopted from a shelter in a nearby town. I found her on www.petfinder.com You can put in your zip code and it will show you all the adoptable pets in your area. Blossom was about 2 years old when we adopted her and that was 2 years ago, so she is around 4 years old now.

Check in tomorrow for an announcement about our 3rd rescue dog that we met today! (And pictures!)

We found Lily on petfinder.com too! It's a great resource to easily be able to check lots of shelters near you in one easy step.
