Hello Everyone
Back from my travels finally and settling in to a normal life without kids around at all. I'm having struggles with that but very proud of them both. I just need to find me now.
Accountability: great the past two days since we have returned but I was horrible while gone and gained five pounds. So. Low I'm CAMAW all the way and I. Two days have lost 3.5 lbs. I'm. Out I got though that I must keep on the move doing something right now. It keeps my mind off food and loneliness without the kids and husband at work all the time.
QOTD: spending time with my relatives in Rochester always makes me laugh.

I tried a new brand of SF ice cream, Sola, but it had pretty much the same effect as regular ice cream. Must be the sugar alcohols.
This afternoon will be devoted to my latest crumb quilt. If you're not a quilter, you probably don't know what that is. You take small pieces of fabric (leftovers from other quilts), stitch them together to make a block. I started with some really small pieces and kept adding until the quilt was 25x35. I have it assembled to quilt on the machine. It will be donated to a nursing home.

Howdy,
I have been gone off of OH for about a month. Between traveling and two weeks of family visits, I am totally off the rails and gained weight on the scale. It looks like 4-5 lbs over a month, so back to the drawing board. Clearly I cannot behave unless I am weighing and measuring my food here. :(

Hi my fellow RnYers! Happy Monday!
I've been watching the news a lot lately and have decided to volunteer for my choice of political parties up here. I'm registered in CA as an independent, but I think that it's become kind of impossible to straddle the middle at this point in our country, so I'm going with the one I agree with the most. Hopefully I can make some small difference, somewhere or with someone.
Speaking of the news, it's pretty amazing to see that rescue of those young boys in Thailand! A friend's daughter was just there last week, at those caves. I hope that the remaining kids and their coach are safely extracted.
First: tons of tea!
B: Tuna
L: Hamburger
D: An egg, maybe two.
Have a wonderful day you guys!
