Good morning~ Good luck with your training today JB - you got this girl! I had a really nice weekend - lots of fun, relaxation and taking care of business. I love my life! This week, my work calendar is fairly light so I should be able to focus get a lot done. I cannot say the same for the next few weeks, or months for that matter...it's the way it goes though.

QOTD - Yes, I had some really good belly laughs this weekend watching Bill Maher. He had a stand up special on HBO, I just love him. Rob makes me laugh all the time, he is so adorable! I can't imagine my life without him

morning everyone!
The weekend was so nice, but also very full of action.
Saturday we went to my good friends' house for a BBQ/Birthday party for her son and herself (their birthdays are a day apart) and I hadn't seen her in over 6 months which seems crazy since we used to hang out several times a week before I had Story. It was nice catching up and it was a gorgeous day for a BBQ. I did eat more calories that I usually do but nothing off plan...just a few coctail meatballs and half a Cheeseburger patty...the beef adds up!
Yesterday I took Story to the Zoo with my sister and her kids...it was pretty hot but not unbearable, and the Brookfield zoo has a nice little splash pad so we had the kids wear their swimsuits under their clothes so they could cool off there for a bit around noon. Packed a nice picnic lunch and we left around 2:00, hung out at my sisters' house, had dinner there and came home just in time for Story's bedtime.
I had planned to cook something last night since we usually rely on leftovers for our lunches but we got home late and ate beforehand so I figured we could just find something else like tuna or lunch meat...it spawned an argument between DH and I this morning that totally ruined my mood and I am still trying to talk myself down.
I'm just really upset that he expected me to leave my sisters' house early JUST to come home and cook a dinner that he wasn't even home for- just so he could have something to eat for lunch today.
I feel like what I am going to eat is not as important to me anymore as long as there is something that meets my necessities. He still gets really concerned with it though and he is the one that swears he doesn't have a food addiction. He does work til 11:30pm but he is usually still awake til at least 2 am watching tv or playing video games before he goes to bed anyway so it's not like he didn't have time to prepare something for himself either. He just relys on me to do it for him and it made me really angry that he was actually being that selfish. I still feel pretty miffed about it but trying to cool off so I don't completely ruin my whole day with this mood.

QOTD: Story makes me laugh daily. She's 3 and a half which is such an awesome age for learning and discovering, and the way she sees things makes me smile all the time.

Morning: Coffee w/half caramel PP
B: greek L&Fit yogurt
L: tuna creations packet w/1/4c cottage cheese and 5 rainier cherries
s: 2 light string cheese
D: curry shrimp w/cauliflower rice

So after a few days of being super low calories I managed to up them quite a bit yesterday... however it was only done because I made a catastrophic mistake with dinner. The recipe was for turkey meatloaf. Great! I planned on using chicken sausage to make it more moist... well yeah, that chicken sausage I bought was in fact pork sausage. That was extra 100 calories I didn't plan on. I had a tiny portion, basically a quarter serving but still...

Qotd: I laugh all the time. My husband always makes laugh. There could be a mile long list of things that get me giggling. Most recently, was probably a meme on pinterest this morning!

Accountability: ugh. Pork sausage.

Bf: 4oz siggi's yogurt, 37g Julian's bakery pro granola

MS: 5 strawberries, 1 babybel, 3 pieces Epic Turkey bites

L: lentil soup at a friend's house

AS: 1 black bean brownie, 2oz sliced rotisserie chicken

D: 1/4 serving leftover meatloaf, 4 triscuits

A premier protein pudding if needed

850 calories, 90g protein, 120oz water, 1hour treadmill, all vitamins.

Good Morning,

I am currently sitting in the hospital cafe with DH waiting while my MIL has the sleeve. She did really well on her pre-op liquid diet and lost 24 pounds!

I got sad news yesterday morning. My cousin passed away in her sleep Saturday night. She was only 30 and I just saw her a few weeks ago. I'm just devastated.

I am also coming down from the vacation high. We had such a great time!

QOTD: I laughed so much on vacation. I just can't remember what we we're laughing about!!

Time since surgery - almost 7 months

B: premier protein shake

L: Mandarin orange salad with grilled chicken

D: sausage, onions and peppers

S: watermelon

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
