Oh, the plank challenge sounds interesting! Planks and pushups, I think that's the ticket!

Today is my 10 year surgiversary. This is a good time to pledge to myself to follow the WLS eating plan. Most of the time I do well, but then there are times when not so much.
Friday evening I attended my great niece's birthday party. I did very well with the meal except for eating too many raw veggies. Really difficult for me to digest. I fully intended to turn down the ice cream and cake, but sorry to say I indulged. I was so miserable. Soon as I got home, it came up.
Peachpie, you are full of energy. Good for you running. I have to tell you I only run if someone is chasing me and I don't want to be caught. I'm way older than you, but even when I was younger, no interest in running. Truthfully, exercise is a word I don't use much.
QOTD: I love to cook but not breakfast. I used to really enjoy going out for breakfast. My choices were either biscuits & gravy, hash browns, bacon or sausage, or instead of the biscuits & gravy, a 3 egg omelet with the tators and breakfast meat. A dinner meal favorite was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a couple dinner rolls.
Today's menu won't be anything like those meals:
Iced de-caff coffee w/Big Train
Cheese; cantaloupe
Greek yogurt
Click shake
Turkey meat balls; *WW noodles that look like cellophane, 15 calories (guys will have spaghetti
*Weigh****cher noodles I bought when I going to meetings a few months ago; tried them once and not a fan but they are better for me carb wise.

Nothing in me wanted to run this morning. I probably looked like cardboard moving initially cause of my attitude. I loosened up and enjoyed it. I do feel energetic - but when I think of all the years I wasted being SMO- I feel like I owe it to myself.
Tater Tots and hash browns are something I didn't discover till I had kids. Hash browns I can leave-- but tater tots...mmmmm

Good morning. It's going to be 85 today. I am sitting out on the patio drinking my coffee deciding what to do for the day. I really want to go to church, but going for a hike with my husband and dog sounds great too.
I had such a great food day yesterday. I logged every little bite and was 100% on plan. It felt really good. I am feeling really motivated and strong.
QOTD- My favorite breakfast pre-op were hash browns, egg, sourdough toast with lots of butter and jam. I also used to have quite the cheez it problem. I would eat a box a night. I look back on how much I used to eat and its embarrassing.
Food for today-
I have already eaten my breakfast
1 egg, 1 adeles chicken sausage, 1 slice onion, 1 oz light mozzarella,
(281 calories, 2 carbs,24 protein)
lunch is grilled halibut with lemon and capers
steak kabob.
chomps if needed
Lots of water and vitamins always
I have also decided I am going to star****er aerobics again. Its literally a mile from my house. I can walk up the hill and walk home. Thank you Librarian67 (Janet) for motivating me.
Have a great day everyone!
Good morning! Your QOTD was on spot this morning bc we were talking about that on the way to church!
I LOVE to cook! Like baked all of my Christmas goodies 2 weeks post op and did just fine.
Breakfasts on the weekends were always huge. Eggs, meats, hash browns, toast, sausage gravy. Etcetc. Now it's a premiere shake. EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! We went to ihop after church to eat lunch with our daughter before she left for work and I got one egg and a piece of sausage. And the eggs. Still make me nauseated. Every single time ???.
Oh well!
B: premiere shake
L: 1/2 scrambled egg, sausage link
D: I just put a beef roast in the crock pot so that and some veggies.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning! I slept in and today is my planned lazy day! I tried to get as much work done yesterday as possible. I went to the gym and did 30 mins on elliptical, weights, and another 15 on treadmill, then spent a huge amount of time taming the garden, and by the time I dot done with all of that, I didn't get much of the housework done that I wanted. So today I'm going to turn up some music and finish cleaning and folding laundry, then have my mini-spa and lazy afternoon :)
qotd: Sunday would be either pancakes, French toast, or biscuits and gravy with sides of bacon and cheesy scrambled eggs. Wa**** down with low sugar orange juice (cuz diabetes!) and/or coffee. Or we'd go out and if order something similar. Now my "big Sunday breakfast" is one scrambled egg and a couple of sausage links or bacon strips. Huge difference!
breakfast: aforementioned scrambled egg and bacon
coffee and Premier 30 mins after
lunch: late breakfast, so might just have some kind of yogurt snack at some point
dinner: chicken fried cauliflower rice. We go heavy on the chicken, so it's mostly protein and less everything else.

Good afternoon! Had a good day in church and am now sitting on the porch enjoying the cooler weather before it becomes hot again.

Yesterday's shopping was crazy. 6 hours in a mall with my husband. Luckily we got everything we needed so we don't have to go back!
Qotd: My go to lunch about once a month was a Domino's order. A medium pizza, an order of parmesan bread bites and a soda. I would eat half the pizza and all the bread bites. The thought of that now makes my throat seize up and my stomach turn badly.
Accountability: not so ho****er was way down, I missed a calcium, lunch was okay (even though it was Panda Express) but I missed my afternoon snack. I am happy at 850 calories, yesterday was 600.
Bf: 4oz siggi's yogurt, 37g Julian's bakery pro granola
MS: 1 serving Epic Turkey bites
L: 3 chicken meatballs, 4 triscuits
AS: 1 babybel
D: real good pizza 1/2 serving, 1/8 cup soft cooked veggies
A premier protein pudding, 1/4 cup raspberries
About 750 calories, 65 minutes treadmill, 120oz water, all vitamins,

Hello to my fellow RnYers! Happy Sunday!
Thanks Peach for getting us started! Glad you had such a nice time yesterday. Happy Birthday to your 14-year-old! Enjoy Wildwood! The NJ coast is beautiful. An ex I'm still fond of lives there, further north in Bay Head, four blocks from the Atlantic and 2 blocks from Barneget Bay. As the entire peninsula is only 10 feet above seawater at the highest, however, it's not a place I would have built! His home was a quarter underwater during Sandy, and he had to be evacuated by boat. Yikes! Still, it's lovely when calm! Anyway, have a blast today!
I had a nice time at the block party yesterday. I had most of a cheeseburger, sans bun, and a slice of tomato.
Here's an NSV I didn't expect: after showering I was towelling dry, when I realized I could wrap the bath towel all the way around me, sarong-style, tuck it in, and have the entire thing completely overlap by several inches! It was as properly fitted as wearing just a bath towel could ever be. It's just a regular sized bath towel, not oversized. I got a kick out of that!
QOTD: I was never a big morning eater, usually preferring several cups of coffee to anything more substantial. If I went out to breakfast or brunch, I'd usually have an omelette, no bread or potatoes. But you'd better believe I'd make up for a comparatively light start later in the day! I could eat for three or four, not just for two, usually late in the evening. I had really developed absolutely terrible dietary habits, which the scale accurately, if embarrassingly, reflected.
First: two huge mugs of tea!
B: beef with smoked gouda
L: tuna
D: chicken
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone!
